Today was the first game of the season, which was against Fairport Magic. We were supposed to play on the new turf field at my high school, but we got switched to an awful field at Bishop Kearney high school. It was one of the worst fields I've ever played on. In the first half, we started out very well, keeping possession and getting decent chances. We went up 2-0, but then right after, we let down and their striker snuck one past me on a breakaway. The first half was fairly uneventful for me in goal, the most action I had after the goal was catching a stray cross. The half ended 2-1. In the second, we came out somewhat flat, and Fairport controlled the game, but never really got any good chances. We scored 3 goals in the last 15 minutes, for a final score of 5-1. Our defense was very strong today, especially our left back, Scott Wratni. He was the player who I felt was the best today. Other good players today were Jeff Brayer (attacking mid) and Dave McElheny (forward), who linked up well together. Our goals came from:

U seriously played at BK today, so did we, our game was at 6:30. This field was shiite too, and the top league of lacrosse plays on that. What age group are you?

We played at 3:30. We played on the field right next to the stadium field. It was dreadful. I (think) my team is the U17 team, but it might be U18. I'm not really sure. I'm 16. Right now I'm contemplating if I want to take the time to put a roster up and keep a goal count.... hmm...

I played on a field with solid sheet of ice(with certain dents every few inches) on top once, try running on that.

Yeah, we got "relegated" because we finished 4-5-6... Bishop Kearney went from 3rd division to 1st division... gay! I really hope that we have better opposition than the Fairport team that we played. They were awful...

I just found out that we are going to play you guys Sunday at 8am in your tournament. Too bad i didn't play forward and could score on you, may the best man win.

Whenever I go to visit family in Rochester, we'd go to Irondequoit Mall. It blows now so we go to East View instead.

Im coming down this weekend for my brothers graduation from RIT, and I might catch the Rhino's game on Saturday if we get home in time.

I hope to go to RIT after high school. If u do go to the rhinos game make sure to call me, i'll pm u my #, u can come with me to the supporters section, I actually work for the rhinos, so i go to all the games for free. Irondequoit mall is crappy right now, but just in the past 2 weeks it was made official that he was bought by an investor who is going to make the mall a lor better and bring in a lot of new stores to Rochester. I go to Marketplace r Greece Ridge myslef.

I dont think I'll ever be home all day. Im gonna be at his graduation and than theres gonna be a party and such. My hope is that it all ends by 5 and than I'll go with my uncle and brother.

What time is the game at, and how much are tickets?

The game is at 7:30 and the cheapest tickets are $12, get those and sit wherever u want or come with me to the supporters section.

By "supporter section" do you mean the bleachers on the left side?

Oh, and as for the 8AM game... hopefully I'll be playing... My coach might decide to play our other keeper (she does it from time to time), but hopefully I can keep my spot. I played solid in our first game.

(just remembered): My team is only going to have 3 subs the entire tournament.

ps. My team is like the Irish squad in the 02 World Cup... we have awful organization... We haven't had training on a decent pitch in 3 weeks. The last few weeks we've been in:

-A small area with 8 inch grass and one small sized net
-A half-field with decent grass and no nets
-A lacrosse field w/ decent grass and lacrosse nets

It's getting rediculous, I feel like Roy Keane. Yesterday, when we were on a field for U9 girls with small sized nets and rock-hard ground, I injured my back and arm. I'm in pain right now, and my back has like 1344213 knots in it. Hopefully I'll be fit for this weekend's tournament.

This weekend we hosted a tournament. There were a total of 6 teams, and each team played 3 games. Then the top two teams by points played in the finals.

Point System:
Win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point
Loss: 0 points
1 goal: +1 point
2 goals: +2 points
3 or more goals: +3 points
Clean Sheet: 1 point
The maximum points you can take from a match is 7 (win, clean sheet, 3 or more goals scored)

Game 1: Irondequoit vs Chili

Chili was a decent team who were good in the midfield but never really produced good chances to score. Our team only had 11 players, so I played keeper for one half and Alastair Farmer played the other half, so that we could both be somewhat fresh in the field. I drew a red card on one of their players with a few minutes left. It was a very tense, physical game. We were denied a legit goal by an offsides call, and it ended up costing us points.

Game 2: Irondequoit vs Gates

Gates (<RHINO>'s team) was a good team. Again, I played in net for the first half only, so that we could have a fresh field player (me) in the second half because we had only 2 subs. We scored in the first half, and scored again, but the second goal was ruled offsides (I'm not sure if it was or not, but the referees were split on the decision). Gates dominated early in the second half and scored a deserved goal from a corner. We had a chance to score late in the game but our forward (Dave McElheny) put it just wide from an ideal spot near the penalty line. I got to play as a forward, with Kyle roaming around me, and I exchanged a few nice words with him on the field.

This game was never even close. We scored two in the first half, and another two in the second. We took the maximum amount of points from this game.

It was a good game, weather could have been better. That offsides call I was unsure of myself. The momentum of the game went back and forth. Their goal was when their players just simply ran around our defender( who in fact is RochesterFC1013's brother) and placed his shot nicely from a tough angle. We had 2 injuries but we still had enought players since we field the max 18 and we still have reserves each game who are ineligible to play. I also know a lot of people of the Chili team, because i know them from school. What other tournaments are you doing this year?

Well the first half was good, with the rhinos winning 1-0. The 2nd half the rain picked up and Rochester's play went down and Montreal scored 2 goals to win it. With one of the worst crowds in history of like 9,000 something it was a sad day for thr rhinos and their fans.

good game barthez4 on sunday, i play on the metros aswell and i played you on sunday. a tie was a gay result though, also i know paul spatola, mcelheny and alistair farmer from playing hockey with them.
