he is the best in the world atm but to be considered the best ever he must get more years as manager and won more titles but he has the talent to be in the future.
and for the non-portuguese guys, his task in Porto wasn't so easy as you think. he got Porto in an incredible 6th place and led them to the european title in 2 years and a half rebuilding almost all the squad with unknown players brought in small teams like Paulo Ferreira, Derlei and Nuno Valente.he has the talent to "squeeze" the players to their full potential and keep the team morale always high.
some players like Maniche, Costinha, Nuno Valente, Derlei are a shadow from what they were on Mourinho' hands.

Yes, it is stupid to assume that Mourinho is the best coach ever. Don't see anyone better than him this season though. But don't forget the Tinkerman who also got 2nd in EPL and a CL semifinal spot with players almost twice worse than they are right now. The reason why he did so well in CL and UEFA cup, is because he did have some good players at that time, he does have brains and his domestic league, was portugese, which does not take that much energy, compared to EPL, while with Chelsea, he just had subs that were better than some starters on United and Arsenal teams.
Not to take anything away from him, nobody is better than him right now, but as for the best ever, even Fergie is better, even though we all want him to leave like RIGHT NOW!

What does Mourinho's English have to do with his managing skills ? His English is far better that you think and with an able training staff, the language barrier isn't hard to get past. Many people rate him as this godlike coach, I don't, that's why I think he's overrated. One thing is for sure, he's certainly over-hyped.
What he did at Porto was impressive. He scouted the right players, had his team play well organised, compact and defensively and by manouvering Porto into the underdog position all the time he got away with his, shall we say, not so entertaining playing style. But I won't take away from Mourinho that it was a great achievement.
However, someone like Adriaanse pulled something similar off at AZ, no he didn't win silverware, but he got AZ into the UEFA Cup semi-final, AZ are 2nd in the league and are playing lovely football. Most of the credit for that goes to Adriaanse. And to those who say Porto is a "small" club, AZ is ten times smaller than Porto. It just goes to show that more people are capable of pulling of amazing things with clubs...

I may say honestly not being biased that Sir Alex Ferguson is the best ever ,although Cappello and Clough do come very close.
If mourinho cotinues this way for the next 10 years and wins atleast 5-6 more pl titles,2 cl and 4 fa cups he'll be regarded as one of the best.

Mourinho isn't godlike. But sure is an amazing coach. Few coaches can do what he does. In so much little time, I think that any coach hasn't won what he had in 5 years.
he still has many years in front of him...but what he has done so far is very respectful, wheter you believe it or not.
