Hi guys,

Some of the older forum members may know me from my past work at Fifa CZ then Sweetpatch where I did some massive roster updates back in 2004/2005...
I am not a member of a particuliar site anymore but I would like to share the work I do for my own game, with you :)

Here are the features of this roster update : Last version 25.02 the following leagues are now fully updated:

English EPL
English Coca ColaChampionship
French league 1
French League 2 !!! NEW !!!
Italian serie A
German bundesliga
German bundesliga 2
Spanish liga 1
Spanish liga BBVA !!! NEW !!!
Dutch eredivisie
Portuguese B Win Liga
Scottish SPL
Switzerland
Norway ( the new season starts in April so it will be more changes )
Belgium Jupiler League
Austrian Bundesliga

* 500 new players created
* a lot of players imported from fifa 2007 are back in their teams
* summer and winter transferts are done in all the teams ( even the ones that don't belong to the updated leagues )
* starting 11 according to real life events
* tactics are sometimes changed
* 7 players on the bench
* original EA faces and mini faces for some hidden players back in their clubs
Van der Meyde ( everton ) Kuffour ( ajax ) Fadiga ( gent ) Kallon ( aek ) Kluivert ( lille ) Ono ( bochum ) Ljuboja (wolfsburg ) Roque Jr ( duisburg ) Recoba ( torino ) Okocha ( hull )

This roster should be compatible with every external patch because there is no new teams
In some case you will have to create a mini head with CM 08 ( photo feature )
This roster will be regularly updated ( depending on my free time ) with new leagues done, so visit the thread from time to time

*** IMPORTANT ***
These rosters are done in the first place for everybody as individuals...( from me to you ) just the way Keegan does for his wonderful "boot making" ...
If you want to use them for a patch there is no problem as long as
a) you mention my name in the credits
b) you don't advertise directly here for your site ...It's my opinion that SG forums should be a free place without site promoting...
I'm really fed up with the registering,protecting,exclusivity,crypted database etc.. and not to mention that some sites want money to distribute their work...Hope everyone understands ...

Wow, sounds wonderful!

If you've kept the ratings realistic and not done anything silly like overwriting youth squad players so manager mode crashes after a couple of seasons, you are a Godsend. I'm sick and tired of waiting for the "official" update since I know it will suck and I will have to fix a lot of errors.

Will try it over the weekend and get back to you with feedback. Thanks.

But maybe can you or some of the others make a cmp Version?
Because for people like me which have edit a lot on FIFA etc is a cmp Patch a lots better.;)

I see no reason why it should not work with manager mode because I did not erase youth players and did not created any new team

I know what you mean...But I prefer not to touch the attributes right now...
I think it's more important to have all the transfers done and create all the missing players possible...I do the job all alone and it's already take a lot of my time...But you can modify what you want with CM 08...
The best thing would be to find someone able to make a converter from Football manager to fifa

Next update will probably feature the english championship and the belgian jupiler league

Yes Jomi you right, but lets take arsenal keeper Almunia, he isnt 75 now i bet that he is over 80.. about converter, it will be awesome!! so Jomi thanks a lot for great patch, transfers are done brilliant thank you!

I was wondering if you kept to the 'less than 30 players per team' rule so career wont crash from season to season? I was looking over them quickly and noticed that a few teams had more than enough players (Fulham comes to mind), which seems to be because players were signed others were injured, except FIFA doesnt account for inactivity of players for whatever reason.

Great update though, I'm surely going to use it regardless of tha answer, just wondering if I have to go back and make sure all teams have less than 30 players so I can start my career.

I was working on almost the same idea (already finished Premier League, Dutch Eredivisie and the German Bundesliga), but i have to admit: your work is very great!!! I have made some changes and I have some critics (please take it possitive!!).

I've made some changes in the database of the Dutch Eredivisie. I hope it's ok if I place the .cmp file online? Please let me know! Here are some features that are changed:
