If i'm importing from FIFA 08 to FIFA 07 then i whill need to import kits and minikits to all the teams..
Is there a way to use the FIFA 08 kits in FIFA 07?

Quick question, will you be incorporating the updates from the official ea winter transfer patch into the next update? Not so much the player movement (as yours is far superior) but rather the update in stats for the few players that they did do it for?

No, the EA format is different and specially made for on line gaming...It does not affect the fifa db folder...
having worked for EA in the past as database editor I know more or less the way they do the notation...
The majority of the players that I created are youngsters with rather low ratings because they have not proved their capacity to be a starter...
The other ones are imported from fifa 07 and I did not change the ratings in 95% of the cases...

Steve Pitts created a tool that enabled one to roll the patched data table into the fifa.db data tables. So its not impossible, but I only think there was something like a handful of players they updated the stats for anyway, you can check it out here:

it's OK mate...Yes make a cmp file for Eredivisie...I have worked with the site Voetbal International and the club's sites..It's not always easy to find the real position of the players...And I did not pay too much attention to the players who were already in the database...
I will include some of your changes in my next work

the max. limit is 30 players per team...More than 30 make the game crash...
I don't play manager mode so I dit not know that less than 30 rule...I don't know if it's true either
But only a few team have 30 players ( fulham, west ham , sunderland I think ) and it's very easy to reduce the numbers of player...You just have to send one to the free agent section with CM 08

What if am not using any of those teams with 30 players does the game still crash..? for example if I used Arsenal which has <30 will the game crash because other teams have more than 30 ?

The 30 player limit does only apply to manager mode, but it has to do with the players growth. The game will only crash when moving from season to season. I'm not entirely sure about non-player teams though as I've never gotten to the end of season 1 without wanting to restart. There might be something built into the game where it forces them to sell players so they are always under 30 players. Hopefully someone else (Steve Pitts) could answer this with greater detail, and clean up the mess I made with this. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Concerning this 30 players pro team limit which seems to annoy some people, I have written a list of the teams which are concerned ( very few in fact )
Go to the first post to find them
Remember that you can reduce the number of players yourself with CM08. You just have to send one or more players of your choice in the free agent section

I did not make this cmp file but uomomagnetico did it ...so maybe he can help you...
By the way, I'm not sure cmp files are the best solution when replacing players or teams already in game. They are many many parameters which can crash the game if you don't pay attention

The problems manifest themselves through the player growth details but the simplest problem is a crash caused by having more than 30 players on your team when you click on 'Next Match'

I've never tried this, but my suspicion is that it won't be an issue for computer controlled teams (and yes, they should adjust their rosters accordingly) and may not even be a problem for any team at the start of manager mode (but someone would need to try it to prove things one way or the other, it is just a theory)

Have you reset your squads or deleted 'D. My Squads'?? If not, then do so.

I don't play manager mode but the only thing I know is that even in friendly mode you cannot have more than 30 players pro team otherwise the game crashes back to the desktop...
And none of the teams in my roster patch have more than 30 players...
Now to be sure, one of you guys should simulate a career with a team like fulham or west ham and let's see what happens...
If you carefully back up your database and career files before experimenting,nothing bad can happen...You can always reverse back

By the way, another very sensitive case is player's Id's...If you have 2 players that share the same ID number the game will surely crash...When you work with cmp files, be sure to deselect all the players underlined in red

PS: French LFP 2 is 70% finished...It should be ready tomorrow or Sunday
