God damn. The guy is awesome live! He was on stage for like 2 hours straight. Covered everything, All Falls Down, Jesus Walks, Touch The Sky, Addiction, Diamonds From Sierra Leone just too name a few! He even had a full orchastra!
The only problem is now, my ears are ringing, my throat hurts from shouting too much and I'm tired. Fúcking ace concert though :ewan:

I will say I almost went too see him last year. You've gotta think as well, this time last year he wasn't as bigger a star. I remember the advert for his concert in a Cardiff newspaper was really small, in the bottom corner of the page with no pictures with about 8 other adverts.

Damn, I want to see Kanye in concert. The only time he's been in Minneapolis thus far was last fall, as a side act at an Usher concert. :|

While we're talking about Kanye, I have an African International Relations class this semester and I'm leaning very heavily towards doing my term paper on how civil conflicts and revolutionaries and crimes against humanity are linked to diamonds. Hopefully leading me to be able to name my final paper "Diamonds From Sierra Leone". Or is it "Diamonds (From Sierra Leone)"

I probably won't go see him for money reasons, seeing The Darkness and De La in the next 6 weeks or so, plus he was just OK when I last saw him.

I'm going to see Kanye this coming Tuesday at the NEC in Birmingham (UK). Can't wait! My house of 6 bought standing tickets back in December! Gonna be so good, heard good things about his UK Tour so far.

Make sure you get their early so that you can get a place right at the front. He jumped off the stage at the gig I went too and started shaking hands with everyone at the front during Diamonds

Nice!! Yeah all of us who are going finish lectures by about 12, so we'll be in Birmingham by 2ish...plannin' on getting in there as soon as we're allowed to I think. Might be a bit of a long wait from that time till the show starts but should be worth it.

OH MY DAYS! The most amazing concert I've EVER been to! And I'd rank that above Eminem and Usher!!! Did all his big songs, and was very funny in parts too when he was speaking. His support acts were good too.

Who did he have supporting. When he was in Cardiff he had Keiysha Cole and one or two other acts I've not heard of.

Yup Keiysha Cole was the main one, Lupe Fiasco was another, and then 2 other randoms I didn't know. Keiysha Cole was good I thought, as was Lupe Fiasco...though he wasn't able to do his best track - Diamonds, cos it would have obviously ruined it for Kanye.

I thought the whole concert was immense, wasn't a bad point about it...other than the shooting that took place, I found out only this morning!

Oh yeah, A Trak was there too, scratchin away, and G Child was on the decks at the start to get the crowd going.
