We were top then we're top now. A little angered and dissapointed by the performance and result ? yes. Crying ? No.

Why do Juventus underperform when an away match represents a challenge?

You guys seem uninterested. The games vs Bayern and tonight vs Milan were almost sad. It's like the players don't really care about the result. I know you'll qualify thru in the CL and you're still top of Serie A so those defeats didn't damage you that much, but I think that attitude is wrong.

Capello bemoans Juve luck

Saturday 29 October, 2005

Fabio Capello insists that the only thing separating Milan and Juventus this evening was “good luck” and insists the Bianconeri are stronger than ever.

“Today I realised I have a remarkably strong squad, as we conceded a goal when Milan weren’t doing any damage at all,” he said after the 3-1 defeat at the San Siro. “Clarence Seedorf’s opener was a lucky strike and the others were on set-pieces, but we did well against a team on great form and the only difference between us was luck. We accept the result.”

Kaka and Andrea Pirlo’s goals came from free kicks that were not dealt with adequately by the Bianconeri back-line, while David Trezeguet netted a consolation goal in the later stages.

“I don’t think our goalkeeper was particularly tested, as the only real chances went into the net. I told the lads that they are a really strong outfit. We knew Milan were good, but the 3-1 result was too harsh considering the overall performances of the two teams.”

Capello also insisted that the Rossoneri did not dominate this match, despite leading 3-0 at one stage and Dida was hardly tested.

“Milan went forward in bursts, but I don’t think that before the 2-0 result they were creating too many problems for us. They were aggressive and determined, but they weren’t dispossessing us that much, as far as I could see.”

Capello also refused to fan the flames of controversy in the post-match comments and praised referee Sergio Bertini.

“I have always supported this style of refereeing and this type of football that is fast-moving, so I have no complaints there.”

Juventus director general Luciano Moggi was in the stands and criticised the Bianconeri’s psychological approach to the game.

“I saw a Milan side of great quality, aggression and desire that truly wanted this victory. Perhaps Juve were a little too confident and that is never a good idea in football,” noted the transfer guru. “The real difference between the teams was that desire to win.”

to me this was a shock. i wasnt expecting three goals to be conceded by juve. i mean lets face it we dont know what its like to be playing 3 games in 8 days. it must be tiring. but milan do the same too. so that is no excuse. i wonder what juve were thinking? i mean capello is trying to make some excuses and that is rather stupid from him. he has never seen his team concede 3goals in 1 half of football and now he is making excuses.

we played inter and it was like we swept them away but with bayern and milan we have underachieved. we have to play well against big sides. im looking forward to juventus vs bayern because im hoping to atleast see a team that has hunger, determination and passion to win. come on juve! lets beat some big teams!

the team has to regroup. i know we havent lost top spot but we can next week, hopefully this wont happen. i really miss buffon now. stupid clauses!! it takes one game lke this to realise how great it is to have a keeper like abbiatti to replace buffon. ok he had a shocker against bayern but atleast he didnt let 3 by him in one half.

Bayern its time for revenge!

ok. i was looking to buy a juve top on ebay a few weeks ago and this came up, i thought it looked like a nice piece of memorabilia......

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-05-06-JUVEN...712948841QQcategoryZ39984QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and most you will realise that a few of the names are spelt wrong on the list he's provided there, so i emailed him, and asked him to send me a copy of the certifcate of authenticity (i'll attach in image of this later if i can find it)

but it wasn't even from juventus, it was from his sporting memorablia store or something, and he still had blasi spelt as blaSSi and some guy called charnin on the list (i presume this is a screw up of chiellini)

now, there is a possibility that these players played with juve preseason, but i've googled both names and nothing really comes up

and check this picture, would blasi really sign his own name spelt wrong?

the only other thing i can think of is that "blassi" and "charnini" are directors or trainers of some sort who have signed the jersey

one other worry i had is that it sold for around $700, then the next day on ebay i see the same thing up for sale again, is this guy producing these "signed" juve tops in a factory or something?

italianstyle, i think this guy is a fake. seriously that is bull**** i cant believe people dont notice that pic. and they still buy it. this guy will be in trouble when a real juve fan realises a few spelling mistakes. the good thing im going to start doing is finding players' signatures/autographs and compare them. i already know what pavels and alexs look like but im going to go through and find the whole team.

Yeah... a friend of mine is into that memorabilia stuff and that is definitely a fake. There are ALOT of fakes on ebay... once, he saw a dude buying a Quilmes Chilavert jersey... week later the same guy who bought the jersey sold a WORN :S and SIGNED Quilmes Chilavert jersey by Chilavert and Maradona... and on top of that, Maradona NEVER signs a jersey of a team where he didnt play for. So it's full of sh*t around there...
