Mandzukic. Not too bad I guess, but I think it means we're preparing in case Real activate Morata's buy-back clause next year.

No, Juve will gain full ownership, but then he'll probably stay on loan at Sassuolo another year. Zaza will come to Juve.

I don't really know how good Berardi is, I don't follow Sassuolo. I know he scored two hattricks vs. Milan (cost Allegri his job (H)), but if he's a great prospect I wish he'd play on loan at a club like Sampdoria instead of Sassuolo.

He's great, better than El Shaarawy IMO

alright, steady on, Joe ... he can't, and he's not going to, prove that at Sassuolo ...

rumour of the #10 jersey being handed to Marchisio, instead of whoever ends up coming in (Oscar, Hamšik, etc.) ... I think it's a great idea, and makes the most sense ...

not cooler than Gallas wearing #10 and playing *in* defence for you guys, amirite?

That was actually embarrassing I thought.

It would have been awesome if the greatest "sitting in front of the defence and making play while the others do all the defending" midfield player had worn #10.

yeah, I was being sarcastic RE: Gallas ... but it is cool when numbers completely clash with positions ...

in the SG draft, I handed Marco Verratti the #2 jersey ... he wore #2 for Italy against Holland as a tribute to the infamous Mohammed Kallon, the original shirt number rebel that Serie A fans know ... what's funny is that Kallon actually wore #3, so Verratti's choice made no sense ... :-D

Kallon wore #2 once in his career. I don't remember when, either pre or post Inter. When it came to shirt rebels no one was more committed than Mr. 1+8, who continues to wear that number in tribute games.

oh, lol, did he? my bad then ... I retract my criticism, and applaud Verratti ...

1+8 is a legendary number choice, though, and is probably the one thing that keeps him relevant ...

Keeping himself off the treatment table and actually contributing for Italy will...

like Cassano in 2004, Berardi was bathed in starlight, only to experience death by Swedish biscotto ...
