Vidic... just a few threads below this one, you'll see a boot called "Let's make a boot together" by some guy who claims to know how to make boots. That should help you. Photoshop is the preferred program, I'm not sure how well other image editing tools would do. As to quoting a post, all you need to do is to press the "Quote" button in the post you want to quote and then type your post beneath it.

Lol, you should know who is the "guy who claims to know how to make boots". What version of Photoshop are you using? Do you know of an image editing tool called GIMP? I downloaded the "guy's" boot template but I couldn't open it. Maybe because I don't have Photoshop? The "guy" also said he used www.zappos.com to see those boots but I couldn't find the "multi view" thingy. Maybe the "guy" could put screenshots for the "multi view" link and also how to quote posts. Thanks anyway. I am sorry to trouble you..

I don't have The GIMP, so I can't say what it can do. My template is a *.psd file which is a photoshop document, so if you don't have photoshop, that is that. Photoshop 7 is fine for bootmaking.

My first ever boot! For a beginner like me, LOL, I'm happy to have it done. Though, it turns out to be very ugly.. Lol still need MANY changes. Please give critics for my ugly boot! Don't use it because I myself don't use it. Ugly. I don't know anything about boot making =))

You could open a *.psd file using a GIMP. I tried it before but it is quite complicating using GIMP. But it can still work..

Oh, man ... that's for long.
I'm playing Fifa now for such a long time (FIFA96), but never thought about editing it or even search for people, who do (never had the time beacause of having a very time consuming hobby in making music). First time it was i think 2 years ago, when i found thing called "Boot Raptor", that i was modifying my game. An now, that i think i know how to handle the CreationMaster08, i would like to bring my own stuff into the game.

So, yesterday i started with Gimp, opening the .psd is now problem, but the surface is pretty annoying. So i need a bit more time, to present a notable work :dance:

But, i've already been through your tutorial and it's very very good instructed to me. Only problem is that i became a bit rusty in english :tongue:

I'm always impressed by people from all over the world who do not use English as a first language who come on here and converse so smoothly in it! (Y)

Vidic - there are a few things wrong with your boot:

1) The sole needs to be flipped vertically
2) The inside should not be cloned from the outside
3) You should try to blend the cut bitsinto the background better

Not a terrible effort by any means, and you can improve with practice.
