Hello guys! I would like to start creating kits on the new template, but first I have a question. I have some kits that I made under the 07 template, and, like some of you, I want to keep those kits and not start all over again from scratch because of a new template. My question is this: Is there any way I can convert my 07 kits into the 08 template? I put a lot of work into them (for a beginner) and I don't want to start from scratch.

Hi guys, this looked like the only place I could ask questions so I am posting here. I am new to this editing, in the sense of creating my own kits (and boots) but have always used the in-game editor to the max in previous games. But reading this forum it is clear things can be taken much further. I would like to start making my own kits (and boots) but also importing them into my games. Does ne1 know where I can go to get some advice on how to start out. Thanks for any help ne1 can give to point me in the right direction.

Check the tutaorials that have been posted ;)

Also, you might want to start out with some basic designs and then grow from there ;)

Take these people's advice, because they will REALLY help A LOT ;)

hi mate! you can do it in 2 pretty simple ways.
1. if you created the kits with vectors, you can simply take all vectors from the 07 front and resize it to the 08 front's size and drag the objects from the 07 template to the 08.

2. if you have made it another way, with pen tool etc, i'd suggest you to merge the kit and then copy the front and paste it into the fifa 08 texture. then transform it (ctrl+T) into the 08 size. ok,now you have a merged and blurry front, but this is just made as a template, so now you create the design again, having the merged front as help so you know where to drag your new lines :)

thats how i would do,maybe someone else have other options!

Thanks a ton Sundsvall, you're very helpful, I will try your advice.

Does anyone have other opinions? I would really appreciate them, as I would like to keep improving by amking more kits and sharing them with you guys!

Would it also be possible to wait for Rinaldo's CM 08, and just use that to convert the kits?

i dont think there will be a kit master to transform 07 to 08 kits because now the kit format is very diferent from years ago but maybe he can find a way

sundsvall is right if u have the design you can convert it like that i did it and then changed the logos coz they were blurry and some parts but i had them in vectors too :P

Just a simple question. Which black (numbers ex:212121) do you guys use. Because at this moment I use normal black (000000) and instead of multiply I use linear light with the fill at 17%, only for the black parts. But sometimes that's a lot of work.

Sorry, have a mabe stupid favor to ask for: is it easy to have some suggestions about which parts of collar in the little square represent the front of the collar, which the inside part and which the back??? it would be useful enough if u could add some advices with pics, that could help a lot of guys, as i notice that many kitmakers leave the square without design or make wrong lines at all. thanks in advance, Mogolos.

Can semeone make some screens of my kit for me ? I have troubles with importing them, so I have made this kit without testing it in game. I know, that it needs some corrections, but cannot make them now. Thanks.
