Dear Robbie,
first of all, thank you very much for your great job...
I've just bought PES2008 and I tried all the Kitserver version (included 7.0d) but I can't still play enable all the resolution in settings dialog.
My configuration is
cpu Intel Dual Core E6750
RAM 2 GB 800MHz
gpu Gf 8600 GTS 256 MB
It seems that kitserver ha sno impact on my executables...
They result different but I can'f find any added resolution.
The only way I could play at 1280x1024 was using the setting.dat generated by the settings.exe fixed for Demo version. Indeed, if I overwwrite this file in Documents/KONAMI/Pes2008 I succeded in playing at 1280x1024.
Have you got any idea?
Thank you very much!!

P.S.
Before installing the retail version I removed teh demo version...

please freddie i have the same specs like u but i can't play in high detail i don't know why please help and tell me what is the drivers version r u using?

I'm, using ForceWare Release 163.71 WHQL.
at 1280x1024@full_details the game play is good but it's slow in replays.
For this reason I prefer to play with 1024x768@full_detail: perfetc in every situation.

go on SETTING.exe and set The framerate skyp option to play replay less slowdown....

So with 4GB of Ram using the tweak linked by Robbie it should work on 1280x1024 on high details. Right?

maybe i was stupid, but i assumed it was called KITserver coz it gives u the option to add kits!

Kitserver is the original name since first version by Juce66 was released for PES old gen...

Now the work is starded for next generation so for kits you must wait...

PS: I think that for future versions, the name could be change in:

"PES/WE files server", or something like it...

I think that's too long. ;) When i was rather new in the kitserver team, i wondered if we shouldn't change the name... finally i agreed with juce that people know the name "Kitserver", it stands for something. To avoid name conflicts, we call the original module (with the kit functionality) "Kserv" now. And in the end, it's not the name that counts but the functionality. And as soon as the known features are available, people will be happy, no matter if it's call "Kitserver" or somehow else.

Yea i think kitserver name is fine too. Btw from what i thought Kitserver 6 is for PES6, Kitserver 5 is for PES5, why dont we call the next as Kitserver 8 or Kitserver 2008 for PES2008. I think konami finally standardize this series product name and version to PES (year) like FIFA. So there is no more WE and less confusion. =)

Anyway just a suggestion and for me Kitserver is part of PES, i cant imagine playing PES without Kitserver. Thx Robbie and Juce.

First release of LOD-mixer module. Limited functionality so far, but the following is implemented:
- custom screen resolution supported
- aspect ratio correction

- now works with original exe, FairLight no-dvd, and ViTaLiTY no-dvd.

DOWNLOAD (188 KB):

But as far as I understand we are not able to change the LOD just yet are we ?
