I disagree. To try to curve each line like it were part of a bend in the flag would be quite a bit of work and would probably look like crap anyway. There is a certain amount of imagination that needs to go into viewing flags... often it doesn't make sense when you try to pretend you're looking at a real one, but looks far better than the alternative and makes perfect sense when viewing it in game.
For example, no one questions that the flag is perfectly rectangular when actual flags will droop in different sections... EA's templates wave a bit in an attempt to simulate it but of course it looks like hell.
You've done a fantastic job so far klamer4o and please do not allow unsupported criticism slow you down a bit.
Oh, and I find it unrealistic to believe that people are bringing a ton of different flags to matches. Most of the time the national flag is the most important and the most prevelant in the stadium... A few fans may bring some others but it's a national team match... the nod towards the national flag seems to be the most important.

You're criticizing a new member and asset maker without providing any real suggestions, which is a big problem this community needs to work past.
People have to start somewhere and while Klamer4o isn't the best flagmaker we have on the forum, his work so far is quite good and shows promise and the best thing we can do is encourage and provde suggestions.
And you're issue with the template would be best directed at Scissorhands, not Klamer. Since he made the templates you are refering too.

Not to mention you can see the black on the Belgium flag... which indicates he put some work into getting the texture to show up.
Many flagmakers overlook this little tidbit and I think it's rather important.

That's not one of my favorite templates... Where did you get it from?
It seems a bit inconsistant and I think it makes it look considerably less realistic.
