Lagging Issues

Hi mates... I have a problem with my FIFA 13 on Acer Aspire 4752G. At the first moment I bought the laptop it runs smoothly on high graphic. but after i reformat my laptop and change my OS it runs slowly even if I run it on low graphic. I think my CPU's power is good enough since I am using i5 processor and my GPU also powerful enough I guess NVIDIA GeForce 610m. So what do you guys think as solution for this lag?? Since you all already know that lag is the ultimate enemy of gamers. BTW, I can run DmC on ultra setting with high fps. Help me please. I installed Moddingway Patch 1.8.2 btw...:bow:

You changed your OS? FIFA 13 runs perfectly on my rig using Windows 7. I tried the Windows 8 demo, but FIFA 13 lagged horribly so I went back to Windows 7. Sounds like that's your issue as well.

So, when you changed back your OS to Windows 7 did it run smoothly??

Yes, no problems with Windows 7. Now, there are graphics card tweaks and file tweaks I did to improve performance even with Windows 7. But it sounds like the game was running fine for you before, so your problem is something different. But if you want to keep Windows 8 and still run FIFA 13, I can try and help you tweak the performance so it maybe runs better.

that would be nice buddy... but I already changed back to Windows 7... but before this I used Home Premium. and now after my buddy change it, I am using Ultimate. How to tweak my GPU?? I am using NVIDIA btw...

Very easy to tweak and test. Right-click on your desktop and you should see the NVIDIA Control Panel option. Open, then highlight the Manage 3D Settings option on the left. On the right, click the Add button to locate and load your FIFA 13 exe. Once you've done that, you can customize FIFA's default graphics card settings. I started by lowering all settings to minimum. I then bumped up various settings one at a time until I found a nice balance between performance versus appearance.
