lol...that's the thing, though. The apprehension and paranoia was 100% on Paulie's end. See, Tony was himself tense and edgey about that dude that they'd killed 20yrs ago being dug up and all....he was really fearing the FEDs and here was Paulie just blabbing about their personal issues while they were lying low in Florida or something. So Tony gets a bit agitated and pissed off with Paulie and Paulie inturn assumes that Tony has only brought em along to wack 'em....understandable, right? Since there's hardly any loyalty or much logic involved in mob killings a lot of the times. Then Tony, after much reminiscing and introspection, realizes what a total prick he was being to Paulie, one of his closests confidants, a guy he used to worship growin' up so he tries to make up for it all by taking Paulie out on one of his favorite activities....fishing...this only heightens the paranoia and anxiety in Paulie, knowing full well that, that's how he and Tony lured Big Pussy into his demise....all in all, it was just Paulie being hypersensitive to Tony's general demeanor that week.
"I guess the turd doesn't fall far from the faggot's ass"
God I love Phil.....one of the best lines ever uttered, man. He really needs more on air time as the show comes to a close. Just a phenomenal actor, that guy....he's got one of the most menacing and genuinely terrifying presence in the show.
