Leage Cup Final - Tottenham - Chelsea [P + R]

A great great match to watch and a great result for english football.

Shows that not all trophy winners will automaticall by a '' top 4 '' team.

Tottenham get their first trophy since 1999, and maybe not the most prestigous trophy in the world, the fans will surely cherish this.

Couple of months ago, they were near the relegation zone, now... Ramos has worked some magic.

A top 4 finish is out of reach but if they can stay consistence and get those results, Europe wont seem that far away.

Congrats to all the Spurs supporters!

agreed with soheil. eventhough i'm an Arsenal fans, seeing Spurs lifted the cup after a great game is quite nice (but not soooo nice after they trashed us 5-1 before (:/) ) anyway, congrats spurs

I have a question as I only saw highlights. Is it just me, or did Robinson **** all over the Chelsea goal? It looked to me as if he started in the wrong direction and then simply had no chance to actually save the ball.

Great win for the Spurs

Help?

I don't know man, i'd hate to see Manchester City lift anything except the relegation ticket.

About the spoiling:
i simply CANNOT understand what's this spoil thing all about!! Why being all over the place when someone spoils some result? simply childish. Even if you know the result -it's much jolly fun to watch, especially when it comes to a good result to your club. I can't really understand this anti spoiler-mania. I can recall MU-Newcastle 6-0. I didn't watch the game, but i searched MYSELF for the result, got it and then downloaded the full game.

Spurs deserved that. I am very glad, i hope they lift UEFA Cup now.
Robinson made some impressive saves, the whole team battled for that result and i am very happy for them.

Who went Man of the match?

... What? Until that point it's impossible to tell whether you're for or against it :D

PS: Woodgate got the Man of the Match.

About Robinson before the Chelsea goal, there were some "experts" (:D) in half time who said

1) Robinson made the wall too long
2) He couldn't see the ball clearly
3) Plus 2 Tottenham players ran to the wall's side so he then didn't see the ball
4) When the shot came, he saw it too late and had no chance

Drogba's goal is Robinson's fault, i mean it was a well taken kick, but Robinson was badly positioned to start with, so it's possible that Drogba took the kick in that direction precisely because of that..

i am for spoiling and against users who cry someone spoiled the game to them with telling them the outcome.

@crswind17: Where did you got this HQ images from the final?

yes, but as it is all the same for people who don't mind the spoiling, it's very much logical that one doesn't spoil, man..
