Well, for those that cant speak spanish but are fancy discussing Libertadores 2004, this is the place. The Cup is at Round of 16, i'll post some results (especially from Brazilian clubs). Santos lost the first leg against LDU 4-2 away, but somehow managed to beat them 2-0 and win the tie at penalties. São Caetano got a draw against América MEX and is through to the quarters (against Boca). São Paulo won the contest against Rosário Central yesterday at penalties after winning 2-1 on 90 minutes. Santos will face Barcelona from Ecuador.

Cruzeiro will play today against Deportivo Cali at Mineirão needing a 2-0 win to avoid penalties. Brazilian clubs doing nice again, and one argentinian less (Rosário). Boca won 2-1 against Sporting Crystal at La Bombonera and will face São Caetano as previously said.

I thought it was funny how the America fans got all crazy after they lost, São Caetano ran into the locker room caz America fans ran into the field.

Yep, although i must say they were provoked. Fabricio Carvalho started to imitate an eagle, which appears to be the opposing team's mascot.:crazyboy: That Blanco is a disgrace to football, ******* annoying guy.

Santos (from Mexico) got robbed against River Plate. Oh look, that River player got his penalty blocked, well lets give him another chance.:f***:

For me it looks like CONMEBOL (sp?) doesnt have any interest about Mexican clubs, i mean, it doesnt look like they would like the Mexicans to succeed in Libertadores, since they wont get to play the Intercontinental Cup and they arent from South America.

The referees will favor any team playing against the Mexicans, that's what it looks to me.

Boca is sure to win!!!!!!!!!! Brazilian teams look weak this year. Plus I notice their players diving at the end of games and trying to waste time. That is just sissy especially when there is no contact at all. excluding cruziero who had an awesome game today

I also think they should play overtime. Penalties right at the end of the game is like a lottery really:kader:

Hah did anyone see the big fight that happened today?

All started because of an elbow, but it became big and everyone got envolved.

I saw it live...it makes Mexican soccer look so good. :kader:

But its just Club America's supporters, they're all a bunch of criminals. If u look at all the fights in the Mexican league between supporter groups, its always between Club America's supporters vs another club's supporters.

Quarter-Finals 1st leg next week
São Paulo (BRA) vs Deportivo Táchira (VEN)
Santos (BRA) vs Once Caldas (COL)
River Plate (ARG) vs Deportivo Cali (COL)
São Caetano (BRA) vs Boca Juniors (ARG)

Wow this is great for Colombian soccer as we only had 3 teams in the tournament. While Brazil and Argentina had an amazing 5 teams each:kader:

I think that the pumas are the worst. I saw Morelia play against and them in Morelia and they were talking a bunch of garbage, and throwing beer at the Morelia fans. A couple weeks later when Morelia beat them in a play off game they started a riot.
