Here is another FINAL VERSION PATCH!!!!

We have been working hard on updates for the UFOA Region of Africa and they are finally complete. I have to admit I didn't have time to test that this patch imports properly, if anyone could please import it and let me know how it went I will make another version if there is any trouble with it (typically they are fine).

UFOA is one of two parts of West Africa. There are 7 teams included in the patch: Niger, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana. They will need to be added to a league manually after you import them.

-IMPORTANT- Remember 08 users, the kits in this patch are for the 07 version, you will need to import your own kits!

I don't play 08 and have no plans to move to 08 for at least a few months. I did however have someone who owns 08 test out the backwards compatibility that Rinaldo has mentioned and it all seems to work.

The only incompatibility is obviously the kits.

Any of my national teams from 07 should import correctly into 08 but YOU MUST:

UNCHECK THE KITS
USE CREATE (NOT REPLACE) FOR ALL PLAYERS

in this way the scale that I use for the national team players (increasing player attributes all the way to 99 and decreasing them as low as 1) will not effect your manager mode.

Here's what we'll do for updates:

If you can help me with the updates of rosters for your country or any nations you play I would greatly appreciate it. I set up an ezboard site HERE to track the changes to all national team rosters and am hoping that a few of you wouldn't mind registering very quickly and offering some suggestions for the teams you know.

as I mentioned you can still import cmp files for 07 that I previously made HERE. Since these teams will not have kits, if you do not know how to make kits we will arrange to make a generic solid colored kit for you to use temporarily.

So, a lot of the hard work is done, we just need to get the kits taken care of and work on making the rosters more accurate.

I'm excited about this and greatful to Rinaldo for another year of editing.

EDIT - This section of text was editing on 8 April 08 and includes important information on "Final Version" Patches.

I think we need to start finalizing some regions. When the patches were released, honestly, some of the teams weren't really finished. Minikits weren't made, flags weren't included. Some logos needed to be adjusted and other rosters needed work. Now that we are starting to get most of these problems worked out these "Final Version" patches are needed to reduce the size of the work remaining and focus our teams efforts on otherwise forgotten regions.

So when we release a final version it will include:

------------------------------------------------------------------

Matching kit and minikit (08 users will have to find their own kits)
Flags
Logos (Not national flags)
20-25 man roster

I'm also attempting to make sure that no "FAT" players are included and i'm attempting to increase all players potential to display their proper attribute rating in game.

I am trying to make sure that the numbers selected for the kits will appear and will not blend into the kit as some others may have. But number colors may still be incorrect.

The reason for us conceeding a few minor mistakes here and there has to deal with the absolute size of the patch. Over 210 national teams is very tough to keep 100% accurate so it is unrealistic for us to attempt this.

When a final version is released, this team is not intending to edit that region any further. 1 editor or kitmaker or another may feel the desire to provide a minor update but our focus is now on the unfinished regions of the world. Any further editing will have to be done on your own (like you do with EA's version of the game... You buy the fifa game then start editing it!)

You are more than welcome to use any of the national teams anytime!
