Alright, I've had enough!!!
In the past I've been rather poor at accepting help. I shoot people down cause they don't want to do things quite the way I would and was always rather closed minded about it all. You can find evidence of that all through this thread.
I think when you match that with the fact that I have way way way too many projects cramped up in my head that I will never ever ever seen the end of it all, well I run into a little bit of a problem.
I need to be far more receptive to help and begin actively seeking assistance with this entire national team project.
SO... I'm very very actively (you may get a PM from me) and very very seriously seeking help with all things related to national team football.
I want to list the projects I had in mind... remember this is in a perfect world and we don't need to abide by any time constraints. If we sign on for a project and don't get it 100% complete for a year, no big deal.
POTENTIAL PROJECTS
Historic Tournaments dating back to the 1900 olympics and including FULL qualification for every tournament including the world cup qualifying tournaments.
Current Youth Team Tournaments in the U17, U20, and U23 age groups including qualification.
Current Roster updates for every team in the world.
Kit updates. I'de like to get a list of every national team kit made from FIFA '05 onward and provide users with a CMP patch to import it. This would give them a quick and easy way to load any kitmakers kits in for any team in the world.
Alternative logos. Flags for every team would be nice and most are already made.
Stadiums (this may be a dream). I'de like to get some more generic stadiums made like Makispla came up with. Changing the scenary around the stadium to make you believe you are in the Caribbean or South Pacific... or in africa, or in southeast asia... You get the point.
National Teams working in Career mode Seasons. This is a very realistic goal but will take a bit of work.
Full Player Pools for every national team in the world. instead of 23 man teams we will release patches with 23 players on the team and maybe 50 total players that could ideally play in any circumstance. For many teams this is impossible, for others it is very realistic.

I am more into some of these projects than I am to others but I'm at a point now where I don't know where my next step is. Aside from that I am very good at breaking a huge project down into it's very small, very simple parts.
That being said I don't want you to think that signing on for any of these projects is signing your life away. I put a good amount of time into all of this, that doesn't mean you have to. If you would be able to dedicate a couple of hours a week to chipping away at a very very large block I would be forever greatful.

What would you do exactly?
It depends on the project you're interested in for sure but if team creation is required, you might just make the shell of the team, make sure there are 23 players, get the attributes kind of close, make sure the name is right and send it to my e-mail address... If you want to see it through all the way, you are more than welcome to.
For the kit project you would probably at least research the kits and see what you could find... If you wanted to you could actually make the patches.
For roster projects the research is crucial... any research you do would be a huge help.
I think people have been intimidated or scared away in the past because of the absolute magnitude of everything that I EVENTUALLY want to do. In the short term it is all much more simple than that. I believe in dreaming big. Very big. I want to have a clear goal in mind, but anything we work on together will be taken bit by little bit and you can always hang it up when you feel it's time.
