It's ridiculous.
Maybe UEFA didn't like at all the appeal to the closing of Vicente Calderon.
In my opinion it's a rob with all the words... ridiculous.
I don't blame Liverpool for this but I think that you Liverpool fans will recognise it. Weren't penaltys of Carragher and Mascherano... and it was in '93 of Pernia by doing nothing?

Not a penalty by Pernia, but two penalties earlier by Perea. Things even themselves out, and though I think it was cruel on Atletico the way it happened, it wasn't underserved, imho.

Big 3-0 win....helps the GD slightly. The win was necessary after that joke of a game at Spurs and dismal/half-asleep midweek performance. Robbie Keane gets 2 goals....his first 2 EPL goals.....and they come nearly 3 months after the start of the EPL season. Well, atleast he scored eh?

Im really happy with the way liverpool is playing because i can feel a very different team spirit this season, the only thing i dont like is that we are wasting many goal chances as you can see in the games against Spurs Atletico and West brom, we won 3-0 but we could have won 6-0 and that is something Rafa should de thinking because Chelsea has a very big goal difference and it could be a fact at the end of the season.

I know what you mean.....we should be able to blow out some of these teams. But, I think that we just need to win games that we should win...even if it's by a goal......I just can't tolerate us dropping 2 points to nothing teams like we did last season. Just win baby................

So lost to Spurs, again,...........in the Carling Cup this time.........I really couldn't care less about that competition though so us losing means that first team players will get *more* time to recover between games.

Big 2-0 win in the league today over Bolton ..............AT BOLTON. Keane and Gerrard missed sitters.........could so easily have been 4 or 5.

Well, that won't be happening any time soon. Gerrard was forced to pull out of England's friendly against Germany with a groin injury. He was sent back to Anfield for an assessment. He will miss 7-10 days.

I haven't heard much from Lucas recently......maybe now's the time to throw him into the fire. Either that or Keane and Torres on the field at the same time....Keane takes Gerrard's place in the starting lineup.

1-0 squeaker over Marseille....we have qualified for the knockout stages. Atletico beats PSV and is ahead of us by 1 goal in goal differential. They are +5 and we are +4. It will come down to the last game to determine the group winner.

Benitez called this a scary game and was relieved to win it.
