Messi was waving imaginary card at some point in this match. He isnt a saint some people make him out to be.

ive always found him to be a big SOB..
and i bet my ass if he wasnt in barca he wldnt have been his best..Barcelona are built due to Iniesta and Xavi two of the greatest footballers of the modern generation...they clearly make Messi look wayyyy better..

but then again most of the big players all have antics like tht..ronaldo, didier, rooney , etc

*rolleyes* Nobody said he is a saint, and everybody waves imaginary cards.

If you're referring to this:

It's total BS. How does this take 3 days to break, and how do you quote a group of players saying one sentence?

Why does it matter if everyone else does it? Still its not sportmanship.

Messi vs Ronaldo debate has been going on for the last four years or something, one thing people always brought up is that Messi is well behaved and he does nothing wrong. I actually did believed this..until this Saturday.

Let's kill him!

Messi is better than Ronaldo because of the magic he brings on the pitch every weekend. Not because anything else...

So a player loses his head once and his whole reputation is destroyed?

Oh well, Messi is getting the same treatment that Barcelona does; when they slip up once, all of the haters use it to discredit everything else. It's impossible to be universally liked.

Disagree, he is also a fantastic human being and as a human he made a mistake but apologizes.

Hahaha, "haters". Dude just the fact you're from Sevilla makes me a hell of a lot bigger of a supporter of Barça than you.

What does me being from Sevilla have to do with anything?

Messi isn't a saint, nobody is a saint. Except actual saints, or maybe not.

He's a normal guy, that lost his temper there, and that will surely happen again, but let's not compare that to the prick Ronaldo is. It's like saying that because Hitler was a vegetarian he was a good person (too far?).

Zidane was a f*cking gentleman and that doesn't stopped him for getting a few red cards for bad behavior, still you won't compare him to Ronaldo because of those red cards, will you?

I see you haven't matured any since you've been gone.

Pique is dating Shakira and Messi is engaged to a hottie...

I was going to respond to your multiple posts but I think just responding to this well do. It's called a joke Sevillista, learn to laugh a lil mane.

Also just cause Messi is engaged doesn't mean ****, I wouldn't be faithful if I was one of the top players of the world lol. My reference was to that bit about Messi consistenting trying to hook up with a chick that apparently kept denying him, she released one of her webcame confo's that she had with Messi cause she wanted him to stop stalking her. Remember, it's just a joke, learn to loosen up a little. Life is too much of a bitch to always be uptight about ****.

Once? I dont think a player change overnight. Anyway you are the one who asked Fili to give another example of unsportmanlike from Messi. To which I said waving imaginary cards but of course according to you that doesnt count because everybody else does it.

Hater? hahaha. Sure.

Well, you did say you thought he was a "saint" (as apparently everybody else has been saying that here the whole time too...) until saturday when he kicked the ball at the crowd.

Madrid is not letting Barcelona find any kind of rhythm. It's hard to play against 4 defenders and 3 DM... Madrid is doing a very good job of pressuring the man on the ball.

Undiano has botched a couple of calls, but has avoided any major controversy so far.

Imagine if this goes to PK's.... :icon_spin:

Thats what happens when you have 75% possession and waste time "playing beautiful football" and not being able to get through the defense. Even with 1 goal down they didn't change their game a single bit.

Barca is certainly the better team by miles but tactics won today. Well done Real Madrid.
