Making a screenshot frm a video?

Whenever i try to make a screenshot of a video on Paint and save it, the image does not come out. Is it possible to make one using Paint or do i have to use other image programs?

The video feed can't be captured by Windows. You need special functions in the video-player (Like Cyberlink's PowerDVD has) or a capture programme like Gadwin's PrintScreen (www.gadwin.com/printscreen)

I didn't know that

It does hurt your player's performance. So for making screenshots of a video I am watching, I, personally, wouldn't do that.

i use it all the time... doesn't affect anything.
