Yeah, Moyes said that we'd need someone for the midfielder few weeks ago aswell, while the Thiago rumours were going on. I just hope he has a plan B cause we sure not gonna get Fabregas.

Yes I hope he has enough sense to realize that the chances of signing him are slim. I wouldn't have even tried signing Fabregas in FM.

Guess we've put on another bid for Fabregas. This time 30 millions + addons that could make it 40 in total.

Also, the Bale rumours are still going strong. What makes me think there might be some truth in it, is the fact that Levy refused to comment wheter we've approached Spurs or not.

Hahaha if for some miracle we let Cesc go, which I doubt because we only have 3 mids, then Arsenal would for sure use the option to block that transfer.

Go beg scholes to un retire again or sign Verratti

How exactly does the first-refusal-right thing work? As I understand, Arsenal can't just block the transfer of Fabregas to another team, but they have the right to, for an example, match United's bid and Barcelone will have to sell Cesc to Arsenal BUT only in the case if he (Cesc) himself prefers Arsenal to United. Or am I wrong?

Arsenal only has a right of first refusal. It would be foolish letting Cesc go but we are actually retardeds so no wonder Man Utd keep insiting.

Arsenal would have to atleast match our offer to use the ROFR and yes, Fabregas would have to accept as well. Anyway, even if we could have 2 ex-Arsenal captains in our team, Fabregas still won't leave, unless Barca has some deep financial troubles that we don't know about.

We will probably sign Baines and say he was meant to be our left mid signing, so we got a mid.

Maybe if AvB leaves to Barca, then Bale will agree to leave as well.

But then again, Tottenham always fucked everybody on transfer prices, so we would need to pay like 100 mil pounds atleast.

I reckon the chances of Cesc joining United are 50/50 at this point. I think there must have been some positive noises made in secret by the player or agent in order for the bids and rumours to have progressed this far. I also think the move makes sense for Cesc himself.

Lol why would he want to leave Barca for United? Unless, United are offering him royalties to play.

As an absolute expert, I can say that there are indeed, some small problems that might make this transfer a bit harder to go through. Fabregas doesn't want to leave, Barcelona doesn't want to sell and we don't have enough money to make them reconsider. If we manage to change those details, we'd get a lot closer to Cesc.

You DO have enough money (UTD FANS NEED TO STOP PRETENDING YOU'RE BROKE!!!), and I dont believe Fabregas wouldnt consider the move. It is true that Barca wouldnt want to leave him and would be nuts to sell him but Barca arent exactly 100% reliable in the transfer market.

Hahahahaha for a player we have a 200m escape clause for and our direct replacement of Xavi, I feel pretty confident that United have no chance lol.

If they had the money they shod have spent it on Thiago when they had the chance, would have been much cheaper lol

Honestly now is the time to sign Verratti, would be much better investment

Nah, we have no need to sell at this point. I think it was either Thiago or Cesc and it is clear the decision was made to give Cesc the next in line to replace Xavi. We wouldn't sell one of our 3 CMs for 40m, unless we have some financial troubles I am not aware of, but we just signed Neymar for 45m so I think not.
