Just want to ask this: Fellaini plays behind striker right? Or can he play with carrick? In Everton he was playing behind forward but in this season I've seen that Ross Barkley was given that role...and he was pretty decent CM...but obvio better then cleverly....decent signing...agree with nady united should have gone for a winger...zaha is not yet given a chance...giggs should never start a game...I hope nani and young can find their form and RVP stays injury free

Do u feel carrick and Fellaini together will solve uniteds midfield issue?? at some part I know kagawa will start so it myt be dangerous for other teams

Fellaini can play DM, CM and AM. He is good in all 3 positions but he obviously scores and assists more in the AM position. While Rooney is injured, I think he should play AM with Carrick and Cleverley behind him. Cleverley plays much better in a 3 man midfield as for England.

An area Fellaini will definitely help is aerial duals won in midfield. He is generally very good with headers and his ball control is terrific. This is an area that we are very poor at. Carrick and Cleverley can't head the ball. He will also be very important for van Persie's corners. He is 6 foot 4.

But best transfer is mesut ozil to arsenal...(not bale to madrid or isco or any other)...Though i am man utd fan...happy for ozil now...earlier was disheartened...but arsenal deserve some marquee signings...waiting to see him in EPL...

Thats true united did well...but i still think united should have gone for ozil...and sold either young or valencia for ozil....COZ he is OZIL

Ozil is not EPL proven yet. He tends to struggle against physical teams but we'll see how he does. Same thing was being said about Silva but he is not doing too bad.

We do not need Ozil unless we sell Rooney. That is a waste of money. We have 2 world class players in that position already. We have Rooney and Kagawa (Bundesliga player of the year). Now we have Fellaini who can also play there.

Gutted that the Herrera deal failed in the last hour, all was ready, but United managed to fuck up. Should go for him in January.

The details are a bit sketchy but I've just had it confirmed from Old Trafford that the people who were in Spain, apparently negotiating on their behalf for Ander Herrera, were not sent there by the club and can accurately be described as 'impostors'.

I have mixed feelings about last night's transfer business. Happy that we got Fellaini, I think our midfield will be a lot more stronger with him, but i don't know if he's exactly the missing piece of the puzzle. Time will tell.

Sad after the Herrera deal collapsed, he was ready to join United, but someone fucked up, apparently that Ed Woodward guy. At least from what i've read. I hope Ander Herrera won't be starting to get shit from Bilbao fans after wanting to leave.
I also agree that we should try going after him again in January if our midfield situation doesn't improve.

And the rumours about the Coentrao deal came at the last minute out of the blue, so it doesn't really matter to me whether we missed out on him or not.
