Richards miraculously will be fit to play tomorrow apparently. hopefully we pull off the win away from home, we need to go deep into the UEFA Cup :(

PS: just read that SWP is having a medical with us tomorrow!!! holy **** I love you mark Hughes. only 9M quid too, less than half of what we sold him for. wow. WOW. epic.

Hart
Corluka Richards Dunne Ball?
SWP Johnson Kompany Petrov
Elano
Jo

not to mention (when all are fit) Onouha, Ben-Haim, Hamann, Gelson Fernandes, Garrido, Benjani, Bojinov, Vassell, Sturridge on the bench... if this doesn't turn out to be a fantastic season, City are officially cursed in the worst way

Well you're probably gonna enjoy seeing a United fan post in here, but I want to try and make a point, to stop you getting too carried away with visions of Champions League glory just yet.

Oh, and you're only too welcome to all the "glory boys" who are fixing to jump on your bandwagon - might mean the real United fans such as myself get a ticket or two!

Even if this guy comes in and offers untold riches, you only have about 2:40 hours remaining. That means that for this season, barring any last minute signings - you will have pretty much the same squad.

Also you will find that initially it will be hard to attract the top players, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and even Chelsea now - have proven prestige and a recognisable name across the world. This comes with time and success. Even Abramovich's Russian Revolution took two to three seasons to really bear fruit. Chelsea were in the top four consistently for two to three seasons even before he took over.

You have a good infrastructure for sure, and the guy looks like he has money (but so did Shinawhatwhat) , but to attract the Villas and the Kakas of the world, you have to offer Champions League football season in and season out, along with challenging for honours. And in a year or two City may be there. But could you honestly say with this squad that you're better than Liverpool consistently, or Arsenal?

Although I'm a United fan, I hope it truly does work out for you - Be nice to have some genuine competition with you lot, apart from your annual two cup finals where you play like your lives depend on it against us!! (Joke)

Plus if it means Liverpool drop out of the top four then it might just be worth it! :D

Well when you've established yourself as a global brand, won the League 17 times, the FA Cup 11 and 3 Champions Leagues and have a history which includes some of the greatest such as Charlton, Edwards, Law, Best, Cantona ...

Nah we'd still be bigger :D

Yeah, funny I forgot about "that" goal! Guy is, was and will forever be a United legend though.

Looks like you lot got Robinho then - at least it pi$$ed Chelski off.

Zabaleta ain't anywhere near Corluca's talent.

All around i think the Spuds made the best out of these deadline. Pavlychenko and Corluka? Are you kidding me? Juande Ramos now has a decent squad.
