I think your defeat at Old Trafford killed your momentum. City are not the same after that match, did Adebayor score any goal after Arsenal match?

Nope, still at 4 goals... He played awful against Burnley, but he'll come good, the suspension killed his momentum. The main reason for this slip is our inability to just hang onto leads in the 2nd half. Late goal against United, blown leads at home against Fulham and Burnley, that's 5 dropped points right there. We could have been 7W-0L-4D at this point and sitting with Arsenal and the Scum right behind Chelsea, but we're paying for our late slack.

Manchester City vai comprar Di Maria por 40 M€



O Manchester City estará prestes a chegar a um acordo com o Benfica para a contratação do internacional argentino Angel Di Maria por 40 milhões de euros já na reabertura do mercado, em Janeiro, noticia este domingo o News of the World.

Segundo o jornal, apesar das negociações ainda não estarem concluídas, o clube inglês está confiante na contratação do jogador de 21 anos.

O jornal refere que também o Chelsea tem seguido o argentino, mas que não estaria disposto a desembolsar aquele montante.

Di Maria é visto como um substituto para o brasileiro Robinho, que não convenceu o treinador do City, Mark Hughes, e que poderá rumar ao Barcelona.

He was one of the best players in that game.


Talking about his skills, he's too young but he's already a player who can make the difference in a team. This season in Benfica he made wonderful games, showing his evolution, besides his thin aspect, he already gain some weight.

I think that 40 M € now is a little too much because only this season hes making difference. Last year he was invisible ( with Quique Flores coaching every player was so... ). But if he go to the WC and plays, i think that more than 40M€ will appear.

40 mil? is this a bad joke? it's hilarious, it really is. If City will pay 40 mil for Di Maria, then, you have my word, I will stop watching football!:)

Agree Arnau! But why don'y they take Filipe from Depor? his cost is lower i'm sure but that guy has great potential, even if , let's say, he is more defensive than Perotti or Di Maria.

Filipe plays LWB or LB. he has nothing in common with Di Maria regarding the playing position...

In this moment 40 Million its too much, but if he continues like this, he'll be one of the best players of the world [top10]. I doubt that you guys watch Benfica games, so if this coments are from judging Argentina perfomances..... Try watching some Benfica games. But one thing i have to agree, right now he doesn't value 40M€
