Kroos took over with Heynckes, and a lot of that was because Robben had injury problems in 11/12. LvG always preferred Muller. Actually, Robben had injury problems from before the World Cup in 2010 until Pep took over.

More like the Double since we didn't win the FA Cup that season. Portsmouth won it and went down due to the financial storm they were in.

So Sergio Ramos uses United as leverage and gets an extension, Mueller nor Lewandowski are coming to Old Trafford, Di Maria and De Gea are set to leave, and Pep wants Pedro even though he really doesn't need him. I still have hopes for Woodward though.

Fat Rooney is the only reliable striker we have and I don't know if we can rely on him because he is not as sharp as before. Some of that has to do with the possession football. Very few balls get to him in good positions. He was not that good in preseason. Pedro would be good because he can play as a striker and can score. The season before Suarez he scored like 15 or 17 goals for Barcelona.

We bought 5 players but I still think we need a defender, a winger (Young shouldn't be starting if we are to challenge for the title and Di Maria is gone), a striker AND a GK if DdG is going. We look far from buying any player from these positions. If we keep that team we will again be challenging for 4th spot.

Looking at the arrivals and probable arrival of Pedro, RVP could've been the perfect striker if in form for the team. But Rooney is on 300k. David Moyes screwed up Man Utd.

RvP is old man and is well past it. He has not been that great in the last 2 seasons. We should have kept him 1 extra season to provide an excellent backup for Rooney though. But he needs to play because Euros are coming.

Moyes fucked up United with the Rooney deal. van Gaal also fucked up by making him captain, therefore "undroppable". I think he has done amazing as captain for club and country but that makes him "undroppable" and he is past it.

Yeh, but there's no replacement in site! I think I did claim last season Man U should get shot of Van Persie and he is well past it but given the current circumstances, it could be a mistake. Given the reinforcements, you never know, he could've find a few top performances.

I like it. Finally we have a decent looking jersey after years of crap Nike jersey. Not a fan of the V neck and the thick white bands on the sleeves but its still better than the vast majority of jerseys we have had over the years.
