Yeah, there is no way we should be rushing Owen back into action after such a huge injury. He will be back stronger then before, but we should take our time, get him fully fit and make sure that his injury won't appear again. I won't be surprised if we see him for the first time at the end of this season or the start of next season

Amazing goal from Fletcher and a great first half from the lads. Rafael, Evra, Valencia, Fletcher and Carrick have been fantastic. Owen's movement again is amazing...

Terrific performance. Evra, Valencia, Rooney, Fletcher and Rafael have been huge. The reason we didn't score more than that was due to Everton's resistance. They had a very organised defence. And I love the way Valencia uses his pace and strength to beat players and make crosses. He was a smart buy by Fergie IMO. I am really liking this guy.

EDIT: Arsenal lost today, so this brings us to 2nd place but Arsenal has 1 game in hand. Liverpool and Man City have both dropped points (Y)

Loving Fletcher (His goal too) and Valencia's improved performance. Just 1/3 of the season passed and made single season's record during Wigan. He perfectly fit on the team. What a buy.

brilliant attacking play. This is how manchester united plays. Hopefully we can continue this after a run of disappointing performances. Fletcher..looks like he is stepping up to replace ronaldo. And for rooney...he really needs to find his form back. He kept screwing up our attacks. Typical rooney.. inconsistent. He needs to step it up if he wants to be in the same bracket as ronaldo kaka messi torres. Overall, terrific display. oh and we really need a striker. Owen is not the solution.

Forgot to add.. EVRA..This guy is the real deal. I cant think of a better Left back in the world at the moment.

I missed the first half. damn, my gf forgot to wake me (coz she supports liverpool!!!).

I saw Fletcher goal and it was fantastic. He played really well alongside Carrieck.

Edvin's passion and motivation is highly appreciated, he did some good saves.

Brown ???? not solid enough but Vidic's there

Evra, without any doubt our best player in this season so far

Giggsy played well, his pass to Carrieck was masterpiece

Valencia, he fits the system very well. He is quick and his decisions are pretty good, I hope score more than 10 this season.

Owen-Rooney, decent match but I hope they score more goals.

Oberton, He showed his talents yet again but he needs to improve his strength. It looks like that there is no room for Nani anymore.

we need consistency and some WINS against top 4.

I'm glad that all Liverpool, Arsenal and City dropped points. but man, Chelsea are playing very solid at the moment.

Lets hope they drop some points against gunners next week.

I think he gave his everything for this game... but with no end product in many occasion. He's making the wrong decision sometimes for e.g. trying to shoot instead of controlling the ball then shooting, or passing the ball. But he did provide a great flick on header to Valencia on one occasion and his long range effort hit the crossbar... He did make a lots of plays.

He might be a striker, but he's not the typical striker like Torres or Drogba. He plays more in the position between the midfielders and striker. He gives something different to the team. When he was subbed off, it was clear that the pace of the game dramatically changed. Anyway I also feel he needs to step up. He's been having a run of disappointing performances.

lol. Thats gotta be a joke. :D

No, before his injuryt a few weeks ago he was being lauded as the best fullback in the world, nevermind the best left-back. Speed, power, stamina, crossing, I could go on and on about what he has. I'm not suggesting Evra isn't one of the best left-backs in the world, he is. But Cole is better. Cole matched up to both Ronaldo and Messi admirably in recent years, two of the touhgest guys to deal with, as well as keeping guys like Lennon quite for 90 minutes time and time again.

Personally, I'd say Cole beats Evra in every aspect (except for speed) and offers more to the team, and plays the fullback role better. Evra seems to be more of a wingback.

Its rather subjective but I'm sure that any neutral fans would agree that Evra is better. Evra is better defensively definitely. Cole makes more mistakes. On the offensive, Evra makes better runs and has the speed but Cole's crosses are better. Overall Evra is better. Ashley Cole's a great fullback anyhow.
