Pepe Reina is from LiverPoo and Kenny Dalglish is their manager. How in the world would we be able to get him? IMPOSSIBLE. Who else could we get from the EPL? Robert Green? No one else TBH so we had to look abroad.

I'd rather have a 20 year old keeper than a 30 year old keeper from abroad. The 20 year old has more potential for improvement rather than a 30 year old who's probably at his peak.

Still risky though I agree. I a bit nervous about him. I don't really think he'll have an instant impact. Might take 2-3 years before he adapts. I'm still very happy Fergie is going after him, rather than someone like Rob Green.

Ashley Young? That would be a total waste of money.

Nani > Young
Valencia = Young
Park an excellent backup.

Whats the point? We don't need Young as the 3rd or 4th choice.

Good for De Gea. Aside from getting lit up by both Real Madrid, Barcelona and some crap La Liga teams this past season, he gets to play with a very good defense than the sham he had in front of him at the Atletico.

Oh and tits.
True on the defense thing. I still don't get it why Perea has been playing there for so long.

The kit is so ugly makes Beckham look ugly.

Young is different to all of them, and can play behind the striker, as well as on both wings (which Nani isn't that good at). He's a good buy, frankly, I hope you don't get him, I'd much rather see him wearing blue.

Also, VdS came as a 30-year-old foreign keeper as opposed to Kuzcaskz who came as a 20-year-old foreign keeper.

Isn't that the point though? All that money for a kid who is going to be in over his head for awhile. You need someone who can come in immediately and not flinch. It's not like this is the first young foreign keeper to come over with high expectations, and so far I don't think any have worked out.

Stekelenberg would have been better IMO; cheaper too. Maybe his ceiling isn't as high, but he'll be ready.

The rest of the post... yeah obviously I wouldn't insinuate that you go for Robert Green or someone like that. Please.

EDIT: Agree about Ashley Young. Az, they have a player who plays behind the strikers already, his name is Wayne Rooney.

I repeat Ashley Young offers something different to all of their attacking mids, including Rooney. And ManU change formations a fair amount, so having someone else to play there is useful. Surely the concept of having back-ups who aren't worse than what's on the field and offer something different isn't new to you.

Young isn't anywhere near as talented as you're making him out to be and frankly he isn't good enough to play for Manchester United. Does some interesting things, but nothing at a world class level.

On the contrary, he's much better than you're making him out to be, and he could definitely play at United. There's a reason why all the big teams in Europe have been after him at some point. He's an excellent player and versatile to boot. I wouldn't say he's worldclass, but frankly, I wouldn't say that about most of United's team anyway. A worldclass team isn't necessarily comprised of worldclass players, and viceversa.

How much would he cost? 20-25 millions? TBH I wouldn't want United to pay that much for someone who won't be a starter week in week out. If he comes to United, he will assume a role like Park Ji Sung at best. Park cost 4 millions.

If we could get Young for 5-10 millions I wouldn't mind him at all.

I am very nervous and excited too... Barca are clear favourites. Ferguson looks prepared though... He said that he knows the reason for the Rome downfall and the game has been analysed again several times. The good thing for us is that Barcelona's tactics are still the same so they'll most probably play the exact same tactics again. Ferguson has been working on ways to overcome Barca since the past 2 weeks. It is a very big challenge.

Help?

Yeah, also I think the biggest statistic to pay attention to is that the Champions League final favourite wins like 90% of the time.
