The ref pulled another one on us......how the hell did Luiz not get sent of after tripping Rooney? And how the hell was that a penalty? Totally undeserved result.....Chelsea did not get much of a chance before the first goal.......

That's 3 times in a row we play better than Chelsea and still lose to some very controversial calls. Karma will catch up to them at Old Trafford i'm sure.

Now we dont have vidic for the pool game. Hope Rio gets back.

And the commentators kept harping about us havin to play chelsea at old trafford...I am not even concerned about that because we will steamroller them at our backyard.

The penalty could easily have been a dive. Zhirkov was looking down and clearly saw Smailling's foot. As he touched the ball, he didn't even try to move past Smailling for a shot, just left his trailing foot and fell.

I just hope it doesnt end up costing us the title. The cnut of a ref.

Probably will. It did last year.

Lets look on the bright sight, our scorer should have never played in this game in the first place and we just might finally finish a Liverpool game with 11-men.

If you foul, even if the player can keep going but decides to dive, it's a foul. The foul is there. Drogba could have stayed on his feet at one point against Vidic but stopped trying, and becaused he was fouled, he got a freekick. A foul is a foul and whether Zhirkov took advantage of it or not is irrelevant. Soft penalty but a penalty nonetheless.

By todays standards, that probably was a penalty.

We have ourselves to blame for the first goal. We were way too passive in the second half. I know you should first try to defend a lead away from home, but we practically invited them on to us with 45 remaining.

The marking was awful as well.

Smalling + Evans defense against Pool?

= Disaster :(

I wish we win the FA Cup this season. Haven't won this since 6 years.

I am so angry right now.

Sir Alex Ferguson let rip on MUTV - He said as soon as he saw it was Atkinson again "he feared the worst" and wondered how on earth he got the game again. He looked seriously p*ssed off.

I didn't think it was possible to hate Frank Lampard any more than I did - but apparently it is.

Skysports' match report said some of the decisions were "poetic justice"

Still, the FA Cup would be nice - and Uefa's refs generally are better, so we can advance in the UCL without fearing being f*cked in the ass as the Premier League like to do.

I don't know why they don't just deduct 10 points off us prior to each season.

Were there other calls that the ref blew? Cuz that was a penalty. In fact, there were two penalties on that play.

It should also be said that Evra fell asleep on the 1-1.

Ferguson's opinions on referees are like George Bush's opinions on ethics. You can't take them seriously after all of their bullsh*t. A few days ago he said that there was nothing wrong with Rooney's elbow, and now we're supposed to take his complaints seriously?

Totally. Game looked pretty fairly officiated to me.

No, apart from David Luiz making 4 obvious bookable fouls before the penalty, Rooney not getting a penalty in the first half from the exact same trip as Zhirkov's (although there Rooney was turning away from goal as he usually does to make space for a shot) and Vidic getting a 2nd yellow card on a foul where Ramires was leaning in and already falling down before even getting past Vidic.

You can take Fergie's comments however you want, but the fact remains Atkinson has given Chelsea 6 points over us at the Bridge.

Oh and I could have added, how Atkinson blew his whistle with the speed of light for an offside before even the linesman spotted it I believe, when Rooney broke free one on one. But that would have been just plain whining then.
