The rest hardly help our players, Fergic made a cock-up. :( Frankly we were utter sh!t and don't deserve to go through, plus not scoring even a single goal in our past 2 games especially against Palace .:| shows that something is seriously wrong with our attack. Very unlike us this season we have too many goalless draw. :kader:

We need to learn to keep the ball on the damn ground, we rely too much on our wingers and if they don't produce, no one else does. Too much wing play at times for my liking. We hardly ever attack down the middle and run straight at central defenders, it's always playing the ball out to the wings and hoping for a good cross.

Also, out set pieces in the last couple of seasons have been absolute shit. I can probably count the number of goals we have scored from corners and freekicks over the past two seasons.

easy word say, our tactic actually is base on our winger to produce quality ball for striker or score for themselves. center midfielder job mostly just to keep position or hold up the ball. we not really play team football like arsenal and chelsea do. you can easily see their midfielders keep scoring and scoring but our midfield hardly score.

we not play fluid football nowsaday compare to last time simple, 1 or 2 touch passing football. i wonder whats the reason. probably the tactic goes all wrong

Well, now that Barca and Real are both out, it doesn't feel that bad at all actually. England has 2 teams in the quaters, while Spain has 0! When was that last time around :D ? BTW i am glad that Chelsea beat Barca, because i know that either Juve or Milan will beat them anyway and a couple of extra games and maybe a huge morale blow after such a victory over the spaniards might just helps up, at least a little bit. You never know, let's not give up hope yet. It's never over until it's over!

Its hard to see Chelsea dropping 8 points in 10 games. They are going to beat overrated Milan, then play their own defensive possession game :D

Mourinho, love or hate the guy, he is becoming a religion :mrpimp:

You think they will beat Milan? I really doubt that. Mourinho doesn't have the experience and knowledge Carlo has. Carlo basically performed his plan perfectly from top to bottom with United and i just don't see Chelsea overcoming Milan even with Robben.

soccerbest was some kind of looney, though. At times his English was pefect, then there were times when it's as bad as ngyc's.(:/)

He is one weird fellow. He spends his time on an all United forum now, though. He's a looney there too.(H)

oh no..I visit that forum regularly. Now we have rhizome not only at soccergaming.tv, but also at redcafe...

btw, to all United fans, bear in mind this is a season where we have to build our team.

We have many young players and inexperienced ones who have just joined United. Ruud playing in the game, lacking match fitness. Our keepers had some confidence issues and Rio was suspended for quite some time.

So, for us to be second in the league, still in the FA Cup and to lose only 1-0 by one of the best sides in Europe, we're not doing that bad.

I'm not saying this is good enough, but it's not that bad as well if you put things in context. Next season is the season that matters. Whether or not we can come back strong with a new strong team, new tactics and consistency is what that matters.
So people, let's have a little patience. Let's see how the team does next year.

Would also like to see if they can bounce back from this disappointment to do well in FA Cup and the league. This is the time when the team needs support from the fans.

How did Tim do yesterday? Couldn't watch the match but it sounded like he was pretty solid by what the announcers were saying over the radio.

He did well, couldn't really be blamed for the goal. He's not the answer, though.

I for one, believe we should give the team a little time considering the fact that some key players were injured, many are new to United and that we are an aging side. that is the main problem.

Our backbone from the class of 92 is starting to show its weariness. Giggsy and Scholes have not been performing as consistently as we would like them to.

Fergie clearly knows that and is trying to build a new team, and that takes time. In the meantime, lets give the team some support.

Should we slag them off right away? They're not performing to the standards we want, but they're not that bad either.
