nah...maybe the first 10 mins of 2nd half... they lacked class upfront. We had it under control. But they are a good counter attacking side.

We did improve in our overall play. I could feel that desire and urgency shown by the players. Lets not forget we beat them without several 1st team players.

Keane admits United quit plans

This is a BAD move by Keano to announce it now when we are still at the early stage of the season. I fear that now the team knows he's leaving they're gonna go on the same spiral as they did when SAF said he was leaving. When the thought of a very influencial player leaving comes into play, it's bad news and it affect SAF and other players.

Whatever, we have to find a new DM soon to take over from him and this should've been done this summer, or even last summer, but nothing done.

Not that surprised with Keane's decision. It's time for him to move on anyways. He's old and no longer got the legs to play EPL football night in night out, we need new blood in midfield anyway, hopefully that new blood comes as early as January.

smith is just a temporary solution to our midfield problems hopefully cuz its ridiculous to attempt to change a center forward to a defensive mid. Yes he shows committment spirit desire hunger and can tackle like a defender but u need somethin extra to be an anchor man.

Mikel attack on team-mates

Nigerian starlet John Obi Mikel has launched a scathing attack on his Lyn team-mates.

The 18-year-old's future is still unclear with both Manchester United and Chelsea looking to welcome him.

United stole in earlier this year to get Mikel's signature on a contract that the youngster now claims he was forced to sign against his will - and he now wants to move to Chelsea, who have had a long-standing interest in him.

Fifa are now considering the case and will soon make a judgement on where Mikel's future will lie - however in the mean time he has been continuing to play for Lyn in Oslo.

However, he has now infuriated the Norwegian club by attacking his team-mates - claiming they are 'jealous' of him.

"The worst is going to the training pitch every day and seeing faces I don't want to see," said Mikel.

"They are jealous of me. When a boy becomes a man and is successful, he can expect more of his team-mates.

"I have told the management and coach Henning Berg I don't want to play any more matches for the club."

Lyn supremo Morgan Andersen is understandably incensed by Mikel's latest outburst.

"We don't accept a player who makes comments like that about his team-mates," fumed Andersen.
