First post in two weeks due to my dumb hardware problems but temporarily only.
I can tell you how I felt since Villarreal and I can tell you its not good. I should be appreciating those Irish cunts duo's decision to not let Ferguson have an extended contract beyond 2006. Fergie should also abandon his 4-3-3 formation in favour of 4-4-2. Since Keano is out for a while, why not? And his decision to rest Rooney over the weekend? Ludicrous.

Yah, thats it. Listen to everything a club says.

They use Chelsea as a bargaining chip to scare other clubs, or at least their more clueless fans, into believing there is a need to hurry up and buy. Chelsea have no use for a DM at the moment, as we have plenty in the first team, in the pipeline and on loan. And you may not have seen it, but Essien has become a fucking demi-god in five games at the bridge.

If Mikel ever gets tae sand out of his vagina and fulfills his contract, he could be the answer this new weakness you seem to have

your probably the first chelsea fan i've seen that isn't a snobby little prick!

gud work! keep it up!

any ways! does any1 agree that our midfield won't win us the champions league?

smith and fletcher aren't game winners! because of them scholes is suffering he has to do all their work and hasn't got time to get forward as much!!

compare them with the likes of pirlo, gattuso, viera, emerson, ronaldinho, xavi all world-class midfielders!!! we don't stand a chance!

we need to get two gud central midfielders in there!! at the end of the season whoever may be the manager must think about getting the likes of ballack or gattuso!

we may be cash strapped but our signings in the last 2 years have been average bar van der sar!!

we need to have depth in our squad in which we are been exposed!

We can be deadly playing with the 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 which ever way u look at it!

the main thing is our 3 central midfielders aren't up to the standard yet!
we lack width and creativity! only ronaldo is playing like he is trying along wif van der sar and ruud!
smith will take time to develop and he may end up destroying his career trying to be sumthing he is not!
fergie likes 4-5-1 here how it cud be effective:

----------------------------------van der sar------------------------------------

-----neville-----------------ferdinand---------silvestre----------------------heinze

------------------ballack------keane/gattuso---------scholes----------------------

------ronaldo---------------------------------------------------------rooney------

---------------------------------van nistelrooy------------------------------------

this shud win us leagues and cups!

If Fergie is so sh!te who would you all suggest to replace him, ignoring Martin O'neill as I'm sure that's probably not what he meant when he said he was taking a break?

Although I hate to see my team get bad results as much as the rest of you we are still talking about a team where a bad season normally involves reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League and finishing in the top three in the premiership. I wonder how many of you would still support United if, God forbid, we were to do a Leeds.

If Fergie goes, I would love to have David O` Leary as replacement, I like the job he did with Leeds some years ago before the team sunk into a financial ****ed up. Tough Villa may not play the best football, let`s face it that they don`t also have the best talents. Bryan Robson could be a good candidate too, since he got history with the club, but I don`t think he is a very good manager. I seriously doubt that both of `em can work together with the Glazers tough :(

From abroad, I`d love Sven to manage us after with England. Hey, I know you English hate him, but at club level the guy can compete with the likes of Lippi and Capello, plus he bangs moms, how cool is that huh ? :D Nah, seriously, he won the Serie-A with a club that has no great traditions like Lazio, and Lazio played 4-4-2 back then, what would suit us better ? Capello has always been one of my favourite coach, guy is a winner all out. Doubt that Juve will release him tough.

There are some talks that Keane will be given some coahcing duties after this year. How about him as a new manager :p
You don`t assign a player who recently retired to do a job in such a big club like Man U. Give him some trainer position, assistant or managing the juniors for a few years before he goes up the ranks.

Mikel is a great player, but I don't know if he is strong enough or mature enough to make our midfield great, but he would certainly improve it. I can't wait until he gets to Old Trafford, assuming that he does.

For the bolded part: Out of Smith, Fletcher, and Scholes, the first two have been doing ALL of the work in the midfield. Scholes did absolutely nothing against Benfica, while Fletcher actually did most of the work, with Smith cleaning up. The reason why Scholes isn't getting forward enough is because he never really runs, he just jogs and hopes that noone spots him and marks him. As much as I like Scholes, he isn't deserving of a starting spot, considering that he can't/won't defend, can't/won't run, and can barely attack. His touch is still great, but he's just out of gas physically and mentally. If Scholes is replaced by someone (such as Park), the midfield triangle of Scholes, Smith, and Fletcher could actually work and not get overrun constantly.

About the italicized part: Average? Rooney? Heinze? Park?

About the underlined part: So far this season, Van der Sar, Ronaldo, Ruud, Giggs, Richardson, Park (when he plays), Rooney, Heinze (earlier), Smith, Fletcher, Rooney, Bardsley, Mikael, and Rio have been playing "like they're trying". The effort has been there, for the most part, it is our tactical shortcomings that are hindering our progress, along with our awful chance to goal ratio.

About the formation: Assuming that we stay playing the 4-5-1/"4-3-3" and continue to waste our players such as Rooney, you forget a few things. Heinze is out for the season. Gattuso and Ballack have about 1/10000th chance of coming to Old Trafford each, and the chance of getting them both is even more miniscule. You put Scholes in the left side of midfield rather than Giggs, when Giggs is a more capable defender (and player) than Scholes, plus he still has the energy and pace to move. A Keane + Scholes combination no longer works.

About the entire post: A few exclamation points are okay, but putting them after every non-question sentence is a bit of overkill, and loses the emphasis of the exclamation. You might as well use periods.

I know the perfect box to box player. What about Fenerbahce's Steven Appiah? Ex-Juve player. In Ghana they consider him even better then Essien....

Fletcher was just appaling last night, taking up the michael stewart role in just passing it sidewards, wayward at the best of times.

I was impressed with bardsley like alot of people have been, wasn't afraid to get stuck in and put in a few good crosses here and there ala gary neville, and the same goes for richardson, who wasn't afraid to sprint down the pitch to smash someone (H)

Scholes just looked out of out, never really got into posistion and most of the game bypassed him, and to an extent ruud the same, losing out on headers to the smallest player on the pitch. We really did miss rooney...

come january, i say Mascherano and Sneijder in (H)

I didn't think that Fletch did too bad. A lot of times, people would play the ball to him with two or three players right on him, but he'd still manage to control the ball and make a good pass. He is the middle-ground player in the midfield, Scholes is supposed to be the attacking center midfielder, while Smith is still getting used to his role as a cleanup player. Neither of them really gave Fletcher many passing options yesterday, due to Smith being new to the position, and Scholes not really being into the game. When this happens, Fletcher has to either play it back to Rio or O'Shea, or out wide to whoever is actually making a run. I wouldn't really blame Fletcher for much yesterday.

Oh, and I'd love for Mascherano to get to Old Trafford.

3 straight draw and a defeat and home plus playing poor football in most of the games. don't you get frustrated?
