thanks good control by nistelrooy, great volley by poor cross bar denied him. o'shea blunder almost cost us nice freekick by simao, nothing van der sar could do.
seems like benfica dominant the game, we still have a lot more to improve

time to wake upeassam said:the main thing is our 3 central midfielders aren't up to the standard yet!
we lack width and creativity! only ronaldo is playing like he is trying along wif van der sar and ruud!
smith will take time to develop and he may end up destroying his career trying to be sumthing he is not!
fergie likes 4-5-1 here how it cud be effective:
----------------------------------van der sar------------------------------------
-----neville-----------------ferdinand---------silvestre----------------------heinze
------------------ballack------keane/gattuso---------scholes----------------------
------ronaldo---------------------------------------------------------rooney------
---------------------------------van nistelrooy------------------------------------
this shud win us leagues and cups!
hopeunited said:Not that surprised with Keane's decision. It's time for him to move on anyways. He's old and no longer got the legs to play EPL football night in night out, we need new blood in midfield anyway, hopefully that new blood comes as early as January.
there's someone called John Obi Mikel if you haven't heard, also someone called Didier Deguy Zokora.eassam said:time to wake up
Mikel attack on team-mates
Nigerian starlet John Obi Mikel has launched a scathing attack on his Lyn team-mates.
The 18-year-old's future is still unclear with both Manchester United and Chelsea looking to welcome him.
United stole in earlier this year to get Mikel's signature on a contract that the youngster now claims he was forced to sign against his will - and he now wants to move to Chelsea, who have had a long-standing interest in him.
Fifa are now considering the case and will soon make a judgement on where Mikel's future will lie - however in the mean time he has been continuing to play for Lyn in Oslo.
However, he has now infuriated the Norwegian club by attacking his team-mates - claiming they are 'jealous' of him.
"The worst is going to the training pitch every day and seeing faces I don't want to see," said Mikel.
"They are jealous of me. When a boy becomes a man and is successful, he can expect more of his team-mates.
"I have told the management and coach Henning Berg I don't want to play any more matches for the club."
Lyn supremo Morgan Andersen is understandably incensed by Mikel's latest outburst.
"We don't accept a player who makes comments like that about his team-mates," fumed Andersen.
