We drew Lyon, what I dreamt last night. A close hand look at Benzema.

And I've read we signed some Angolan striker. No kidding.

its a tricky tie but we should be fine. Benzema is the danger man.

Well we'll just have to outscore them then - still our defence is strong anyway so I'm quietly confident.

They're the toughest of the 2nd placed teams. Our defense has to be all fit. Evra - Vidic - Ferdinand - Brown (forget gazza for now), we should be able to hold....

But VERY tough draw, very tough indeed.

God never heard of him before.... but he will be away for a while due to african cup nations. quite excited though to see him play.

who the hell is is, straight from Angolan league, that's a first. How long will it take for him to adjust to the prem, if ever he does.

The real question is: who the f'uck cares?!

The "location business" actually makes alot of sense - the fact that it's nearer his home and with whats going on with Victoria and her career it makes alot more sense to be in London. It's not as if he's going to play for them or anything is it?

Supposedely throughout his 3 week trial, he has impressed largely. Scoring in training matches, and getting compliments off Ronaldo and Nani. Ferguson says hes doesn't expect him to be a first team player this year. And he will most likely be loaned out I reckon, possibly to Sporting ? Then he will start his adjusting process. But it's a risk worth taking, the money it will cost to get him will be very minimal.

Nope, he will be available for the Champions League, which is partly the reason Fergie signed him.
Right, the articles I've read all said he could be loaned to Sporting, and that Ferguson didn't expect him to play right away. It would be a MASSIVE step up, to go from the Angolian league, to playing in the Champions League. So that suprises me. But if thats the case, and our coaching and scouting staff reckon he is good enough to play for us right away, thats a massive positive. Any chance you have a link to where you read that ? Thanks.

cant believe it...The arse got away with a win with a lacklustre performance. Spurs deserved better

Yeah and to consider that Keane missed a penalty. If that had gone in, it would at most be a draw. But look at it this way, later this season L'arse will have another difficult away match going to White Heart Lane.

They have played a lot of home matches thus far and they have to visit all the difficult places, OT, Stamford Bridge, City etc..

ugh, i couldn't believe my eyes as Robbie K missed the pen. He has scored all of his penalties for Spurs thus far..
Very sad, since if it was to go in, Spurs would have totally sinked Arse with 2 goals in 6 minutes, and it could have been a draw, but never a win for the home side...
