Yeah i agree with the crossing, but i like the way he can break away, i've seen him many times get past players around the half way line and then make fantastic breaks forward. But admittedly, an actual natural RB would be more suited - but with our current position i'd rather stick with Brown than take a comparative gamble with either Simpson or Bardsley.

I thought Darren Fletcher did a good job as RB when he filled in. Gary reckons he'll be back in a week or two.

They should give Simpson some games. He can become great but he needs games. Brown is a central defender, and not a right back.

Wes Brown is not a natural RB thats why he looked out of place at times...The only reason he is in the first XI is due to his determination and experience...His crossing is piss poor and hasnt got high energy levels to overlap and then backtrack again.I would be glad if we give Simpson a chance.

I thought Simpson was injured. Great news today though, looks like Wayne might make the bench for the Everton game.

Of all the rotten luck, i picked ronaldo and rooney. Rooney gets injured & ronaldo gets baned. Maybe I jinxed the team :D Not too mention half my team yet to play and decent games, da silva, ashton, lennon, kabol... the list goes on... nightmare.

wes brown has done well if u ask me...yea sometimes there is lapse in concentration but Rio is guilty of that as well. it happens. I would like to see danny simpson given a chance. never seen him play before.

Rooney isn't in the squad. Saha is benched. Tevez and Giggs upfront. Halftime 0 - 0. Silvestre is badly injured according to the radio commentary on XFM Manchester (get it from manutd.com)

Nice that we are forced into a lunchtime kickoff and the game isn't on TV - Not on Sky or Setanta :-puke:

I get to watch it haha. Kidding aside, I watched the match when it was into 15 minutes old, and haven't seen a shot on target. Nani came on for Silves, and Pique, Saha and Gibson are on te bench.

What happened to Mikael? The radio commentators aren't describing it too clearly. Also sounds like we're not playing too well either.

Another 1-0 win. Points would matter the most surely but it will be matter of time before we won't win matches by the same scoreline. I think the best players of the match has to be van der Sar, Ferdinand and Vidic. Vidic made up for his poor backpass with a super headed goal. He was at the penalty spot when the corner was swung in and he met the header at the near post. That's how good his header was.
