Extremely dissapointed... Man city will not give away the title twice, especially considering that Newcastle's form has been dipping and they are playing Chelsea on Wed. Man City will have too much momentum.
Its really easy to blame the manager after a dissapointing loss when he plays around with the formation. But I didn't hear anybody complain when that tactic got us to three Champions League finals in four years. After the fact things always seem so obvious and straightforward.
The simple fact is that City has a better defense, midfield and forwards than we do and if we went out "all guns blazing", there was probably a bigger chance of us getting another 6-1 killing than getting anything out of the game.
This team was basically carried by Paul Scholes to where they are today, he is the only one that would have deserved to get a medal. The writing was on the wall, after the embarassing defeats in Champions League and Europa League, against teams that should be a formality (no matter how good some of you think Bilbao is, player-by-player their experience/quality is just not on the same level). Our hopes always rested on Scholes performing and unfortunately he has been losing his form in the past few weeks. The team doesn't look like they want to win anything, there is no motivation from them, I don't recall a single game this season when United showed true spirit, apart from the first 4 weeks of the season when we thought we were Barcelona. What happened to all that one-touch passing? Everytime we came up against a spirited and motivated team, we lost points.
We didn't lose the title because Ferguson used a questionable lineup, we lost because Manchester City was simply better
