Israel will get their cummupance. You can't attack a country because of a terrorist group based there. I hope the UN would impose sanctions on them, but that'll never happen. Until it does happen, and Israel still thinks they can bully people, the rest of the Middle East are likely to blow them to shreds, and I for one would not help them.

If anything Israel have just guaranteed another 50 years of support for Hizbollah. I just can't believe how slow everyone has been to act in this. Well, I CAN believe it actually, and effectively the slowness of the US, the UK and the UN to act will just copnfirm any ideas that are held about the Wests implicit and explicit support throughout the Middle East.

If Israel were really serious about destroying Hizbollah, then they would be bombing Syria and Iran. NOT Lebanon. Civilians are dying as they attempt to cross bridges to escape the bombing. This is just unbelievable. The kidnapped soldiers are SOLDIERS in a warzone, not civilians.

Israel may want to bomb Lebanon back 20 years. Well they just put the good work of the Palestinian president back 20 years as well.

I think Israel were extremely wrong to just go and bomb Lebanon. Though I do think Hezbollah are at fault. They're asking for it in my opinion. That's not saying Lebanon should be punished. Hezbollah need to be disarmed by someone more capable than Lebanon themselves, and that's why when I read that Israel blame Lebanon for not disarming them, that makes me even more angry. If there is going to be a war, it should be Israel against Hezbollah, not Lebanon. So far there have been way too many Lebanon civilian casualties. It's awful. Hope that made sense.
