Next i will try to do something with the Gold Lake Stadium from the EA game WC 14 converted to 16 (It would be great for Philadelphia Union). Crowd is already done but there are a lot of errors (fluorecent banners, stewards on the pitch).

I'm having difficulties exporting a stadium from blender (its an EA stadium from an older game WC 2014). I make some minor changes (deleting banners, moving some stewards) and when i try to export the model with the FIFA 3D exporter (stadium tab checked, day, fine weather) blender says model exported successfully but the model file only waits like 50ko instead of 3000 like the original. Did i miss something at some point?

Please upload a screenshot from your Blender file.

Okay, I see your mistake. You must add "stad_" before every part except for "Props". Check out the "How to build a stadium thread" here in the forum. There is everything explained what you need to know.

Thanks wizard, the thread is a gold mine!

Now that model exporting is fine i'm unable to export the textures it gives an error (maybe this stadium is damned :) )



anyway when i put texture display you can see in the picture it shows strange colors, unless on the tutorial videos i watched where the texture are displayed properly. In wireframe or solid it is ok. I tried another blender version but it's still the same.

Oh yes i didn't see this. Lot of MLS stadiums in this thread. However, most of the models are not looking good, and textures like 15 years ago except the Rio Tinto one. Maybe i will put it on my list.

Kotiara converted most of them for 16, but not Saputo.

If you can do it, I'd really appreciate it! It's the only model I've found thus far.

I mean i'm considering to put the Rio Tinto Stadium on my list, for the Saputo, i must check the model first, if it's of good quality. But i have a lot on my list ;) Mexican stadiums to finish soon, then the glares for Bosna's stadiums and crowd for Guatemala so i don't know yet when i will work on the MLS stadiums.

You need the Saputo stadium for Canada's NT right? Why not using the BC PLace or the BMO Field? That's where they play IRL

No, it's for the Quebec regional team I made, like Catalunya & Basques. :P
