[MOD] FIFA 14 Serie A and Serie B Players On Bench

Sometimes EA making bad things and takes bad decisions. But sometimes EA make a presents, like this year...
In FIFA 12 was the opportunity to make 12 bench players in Serie A games in career mode, but in FIFA 13 EA changed something and solution not worked. This year EA changed the game again, so we can add more bench players in leagues like Serie A.

1. Extract settings.txt from data1.big. Put settings.txt in \FIFA14\Game\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng\data\compdata.
2. Open settings.txt. Find line with id of the league (Serie a):
1085,asset_id,31
Place below these line:
1085,rule_numsubsbench,12
Save settings.txt.
3. Extract cmsettings.ini from data1.big. Put cmsettings.ini in \FIFA14\Game\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng\data.
4. Open cmsettings.ini.
Find and change the line MIN_SQUAD_SIZE = 18 to MIN_SQUAD_SIZE = 23.
Save cmsettings.ini.
5. Regenerate.

Or download Archive.rar
Copy extracted files to FIFA14\Game folder. Regenerate.

So, for Serie A:
1085,asset_id,31
1085,rule_numsubsbench,12

For Serie B:
1088,asset_id,32
1088,rule_numsubsbench,9

For friendles:
1708,asset_id,15
1708,rule_numsubsbench,12
1708,rule_numsubsmatch,12
On simulation will be 12 substitutions, in the game will be 3 substitutions with 12 players on bench.

You also can try with international games.

Strange... Maybe i accidentally extract this folder from .big (i thinking that folder was in installing game).

OK! You can extract settings.txt with folders from data1.big via File Master or File Explorer.

Yes, i forgot. In cmsettings.ini you need to change the line MIN_SQUAD_SIZE = 18 to MIN_SQUAD_SIZE = 23. If you playing with team which started career mode with squad size under 23, wil be crash. But not many teams have under 23 players, and during career mode CPU will not decrease squad size under 23 players.

I am just checked 5 leagues. Find 1 team with roster 24 players and few teams with 25 players. Average roster around 28-32 players.

But, the choice is yours... I choice the 12 bench! And in my career will not a problem, wich i can not get around. I had tested with FIFA 12.

Thanks centre it works very well, I have a question,the last year in fifa 13 I take off the friendly match by cmsetting putting 0 in friendly,i do the same thing in fifa 14 but it dosent work, I regenerate,but ever I see the friendly.Can you help me? ty

I have a few days testing and searching...
In FIFA 14 cmsetting.ini not regenerated for me!!! I am trying with Bernd and Iard68 tools, also with File Master 12 regenerator (all other files regenerated very well).
So, with File Master 12 i replaced original cmsetting.ini for changed cmsetting.ini in data1.big. And !!!
PS. Remember, if you editing original FIFA files - make a backup necessarily!

I have a few days testing and searching...
In FIFA 14 cmsetting.ini not regenerated for me!!! I am trying with Bernd and Iard68 tools, also with File Master 12 regenerator (all other files regenerated very well).
So, with File Master 12 i replaced original cmsetting.ini for changed cmsetting.ini in data1.big. And !!!

Product.ini in datax.big.

Import cmesetting.ini no need anymore. Use FIFA 14 file loader by jenkey1002. No need regeneration and all working fine!

In ModdingWay mod there is no italian bench changes. You must to change setting.txt in ModingWay mode manually, like instruction in first message.

For me game start crashing when EA update the game. Problem was in DB file, so i export new DB file from patch.big.

Import cmesetting.ini no need anymore. Use FIFA 14 file loader by jenkey1002. No need regeneration and all working fine!
