Yeah, it's a bit confusing, so I'm glad you asked.

1. Left winger that takes longshots. Right means Right Winger or Right Midfielder. To make it easier, you can use the same players for both Right and Left. So Ribery --> Left and Right Dribbling Winger --> Cross.
2. This is a style meant for a player like Ronaldo. Actually I meant to type Left Winger Center Forward, so a player that plays both on the wing and goes in for headers like a CF. Dribbling Winger --> Longshots is for players who cut in and take shots like Robben.

I've gotten the Left and Right Wingers done already, but want to see what you think.
BTW, the defenders don't have styles for now.

no i was going to release it in the world cup mode coming out as an install option, then see what people said about the ai, if it was good, release it and if it isn't, keep it for me.

over the years i have come to realize there is no way to make this game play as it should, so i take what i want to see the most and make it happen.

the problem with ai editing is 1 code is always related to another, change something and it makes one aspect better but takes away from another.

i decided to stop looking for perfection and take what i can get.
 
First test being done with full script. I'm loving it so far, but it feels a little sluggish (more inertia) I didn't touch the movement sliders (Acceleration and Sprint Speed.) More to come.
 

World Class, 7 min halves. The picture won't do the game justice. It felt like a brand new FIFA, with all the positives of FIFA 14 and PES 14.

I was surprised to see 3 fouls by the AI in the first half on tackles alone. No push-pull fouls! I think the added weight sort of feeling decreases the successful tackle chance, or it may have been just luck by randomseed. I need to tone down on shotpower and raise the CPU's pass speed. If you guys want a vid, I might be able to get one out later this week, or we could have a beta test. You must have exe version 1.4.0.0. I can't stress this enough.

My Point of View.
We can build a gameplay that use my gameplayzer to make a db with correct physical values, growth curves linked to original career files and optimized position system.
Gameplayzer will convert every db, so we haven't problem with patches.
With your trainer we can optimize some ingame gameplay in this way:
We can inject the changes every 20 second, in order to create "phases" in the game.
Every 20 seconds we can:
Randomize user/cpu goalkeeper slider from 35 to 60.
Randomize pass error and shot error to limited values (45 to 55)
Every 1 minute from kick off we can:
lower acceleration and/or sprint speed by 1 starting from 49-50 (more the time, less speed our players we'll have)
lower marking slider (from 60 to 40)
change line height and length in order to have long distance time by time (like in real matches, to have real counterattack)
increase the injury slider.
It will be simple for you to obtain those changes, and my gameplayzer is near to be ready.
We will release both of them in a week and have the final gameplay.

If you want to check how is the db in my world league thread there is the db. I can do the same db with original fifa overall (i have lowered to make the player more different each to other).

Let me know your answer :D

I haven't tried randomizing every 20 seconds yet (It randomizes every 500 ms currently.) I can try this with beta testers because there seems to be many time intervals that will work, just with different effects. I'll let you know what works best in the next few days. The goalkeeper slider, IMO, should be from 1-99. From my experience, 99 is not that overpowered, and 1 is not underpowered. Not sure about pass error, but setting the cpu pass error range to 75-99 has the effect of 70-85% passing accuracy. Maybe with your db it will be better and I can lower the minimum boundary to around 55, so send me a gameplayzed db when you're done so I can adjust the script to your db.

The acceleration, injury, and sprint ideas sound very good. I've actually noticed from a few matches yesterday that the speed of the game is slowed even without touching the accel and sprint sliders which is weird. BTW, what would be the LUA command for waiting a certain time interval? sleep(<time in ms>) is what I'm currently using.

Sounds good. Like I said, send me the gameplayzed db and I'll adjust my script. Also, if you want to beta test right now, I'll send you the script today. It needs some improvement and I need more suggestions. Thanks for helping out.

No Beta Testing until further notice

Ran into a few errors today when I changed my db, so no beta testing today. Hopefully this is fixable.

Thanks fifaccitiu; is it on Moddingway or the latest squads? For the script, same issue as last year with the futsal patch. Different files in FIFA directory, more pointers fail to work. I'm working on it again.
 
Looks like it's ready today, guys. I've improved the script too by adding an enable-disable hotkey, and the addresses have been narrowed down to 3000 over last time's 90000. More news later today.
 
Adapting my script to the last update -- 1.7.0.0. To those who I sent the file to: if you haven't updated your game yet, can you please tell me if it works? Thanks.

I've sent the new script to all the beta testers. You can use whatever other gameplay mods you want with this and it'll be compatible. Think of this as a cherry on top of the other mods. It's a good complement more than a standalone.
 
Wow, over 3 days and only one beta tester has given feedback (campeador). Waldo, I understand that you were busy and regularcat and fifaccitiu have their own mods to develop, but to everyone else I sent to file to: Don't ask to test unless you give feedback.

I'm going to work on it on my own and release it as a beta instead. Then you can voice your opinions.
