automatic squad number kits means you can have a specfic kit for every number on the squad, which opens up a lot of possibilties: specific GK kits for each GK on the team for those who have them, custom Captain armbands, depending on who is the captain, numbers higher then 99, by including the kit number in the shirt/shorts texture, names with stroke/outline on the fonts, again by including the name of the players in the shirt texture, different number color for the back and front of the shirt (using the same method I mentioned) and without the need of adding statements to the lua files. Just name the kits properly and the game loads them automatically

Good question... I know that if you use -1 value in the assignKitDetails part related to the backnameplacement, it will assume the value stabilished on the db, but I actually never checked to see what is the value on the db for displaying the name or not... (I assume is a true or false kind of option) But I think that in Rev Mod that part of the statement actually relates to that.

Edit: looking at the documentation again, in the portion of the statement related to the backname the only options are the font, font color and the layout, so it seems you can't enable/disable it with Rev Mod.

There's another option though: Edit the rx3 file with CM and set the coordinates of the name all to 0.

I recommend the setting position coordinates to 0 method as they are saved in the kit file, not the DB.

=A Shorter shorts model already exists from FIFA Street which works in FIFA 14. This is how the model looks at present:

If someone could edit the model to change which parts of the texture are used, it could be assigned to classic kits.

I just now saw this post. I guess that changing that shouldn't be too hard. Maybe by unwrapping the parts of the mesh in blender and moving/translating it could do the trick, I guess

edit: I've checked the files from the futsal patch and I can't seem to be able to view the models using the 3d importer/exporter... Maybe the way to attempt this is to create textures in the same kind of template as the ones from Fifa Street

edit2: I've got some good news. I've edited one of the short models from 14 (from the WC 2014 files actually and made a shorter short that even attempts to replicate those small v cuts on the sides and it looks pretty decent in CM 14 (I viewed the Barcelona Centenary Kit and I have to say it's looking nice)

There is no known other way if you want to assign them to teams/tournaments. Bench players are actually controlled in sle.lua, not stadium.lua.

thanks for the reply fella! ok i just wanted to use a pitch fix mod someone made that makes pitch wear appear nevermind

while your here could i ask you somthing? I am playing FIFA 13 and have made some manager textures and placed them in sceneassets/manager and in the sle.lua assignManager(13,100) newcastle and the texture id i regenerated but no matter what I try the manager in game appears green and blue? I have tried lots of different ways but cant seem to make the game load the manager texture I even tried a default texture to see if it was my png but it didnt help any idea? thanks

What are the file names you have used for the textures and models?

You do not state what kit type the GK kit is you are trying to assign so I will assume you wish to assign type 13 to the match. If so, you put the last two parameters in the wrong order, it should be:

assignGameKit(9,11,9,2,13) -- Manchester Utd

This mod uses files that albiet edited are present by default in the game, so if you delete the files the game will crash because it won't find them. If you want to remove the mod you need to get the original lua files from data_x.big and put them in the proper folder or remove the ones from the mod and regenerate using i68 regenerator, making sure that data_x.big option is selected.

When I run converter for boots in sceneassets folder I get following error:
The system cannot find the path specified.

Running it with administation rights I get a new one :

The system cannot find the file statements.txt.

Can someone help me get this working?

Copy the files you need to convert to your desktop, along with statements and the converter batch file and put them in the same folder.

Run the batch file from that folder then copy the converted files back to the sceneassets folder of your fifa. That should solve this issue

In addition to dissectionalone's suggestions, make sure the boot files are in the shoe folder. The script will not extract them from the .big archive.
