Who do you think it was??? Imma have to go with Ronaldihno. All the hype about him being the best in the World and all he finishes with is 1 assist and a very lackluster performance for his standards

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
Ronaldinho also known as Ronnie 10 or the victim of Joga Bonito.

Runner up: Steven Gerrard  Simply put, he was :sb9:.

Other candidates:
Henry (as usual)
Luca Toni - barely done a thing!
Iker Casillas - couldn't stop them when it counted the most
Adriano - invisible except for when he scored his 2 goals
Ruud Van Nistelrooy
Francesco Totti - continuation of his decline at the national team level

Ronaldinho hands down, I guess everyone who loves football was expecting him to show a lot more.

Rocky

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Ronaldinho, its like he never got on the plane to Germany.

In all fairness Van Nistelrooy wasn't given a lot of time and he still nabbed a couple,

Lampard's number one for me, followed by Ronaldinho.
If Adriano's performance has been a surprise to anyone you obviously haven't seen him on Inter recently

Jedi Mind Trick

Starting XI
ronaldinho. not to slight him, but it's just that he's set such a high standard of play, and he didn't live up to that.

how can you say shevchenko was disappointing? i thought he played rather well considering he had no help from his team.

Pauleta wasen't disappointing. That's just how he plays for Portugal. The team isn't built for him, he's not the big dog in the yard like he is at PSG.

Brazil isnt built for Ronaldinho either, he got too used to Barca and Eto'o.

I would say Dinho...but the entire brazil team was :-puke:

And very close, for me it was JR Riquelme...i was expecting much more, and all he gave was a few KILLER corners, one between the lines pass, and thats it...in our most important game he was invisible... (:/)

Figo?
I'm actually really satisfied with what he did for us in this WC.

Yes, he was more important than Deco...

Deco can be another one, right..? right up there with Gerrard...
