Bernardo Silva or Thomas Lemar but they're more attacking midfielders rather than wingers though. Super talents still and they do play wide roles.

I think you should prioritize central midfield first. At least two of them.

You are right about Griezmann causing a headache. I think he could work in a 4-3-3 from the right but not as effective as he is from behind the 9. Pogba doesn't work well in a double pivot so thats another issue. You have to sacrifice balance if Griezmann happens for either him or Pogba.

it would work with an old style four four two diamond, with griezman as supporting striker and pogba as top of the diamond, but a) I don't know if this formation works anymore and b) you would have to sacrifice your wingers and get in a proper DM

EFL cup final coming tomorrow. I don't care who wins but I just hope it doesn't reach extra time. Unlike Liverpool, we are still in 2 other cup competitions so we have a pretty hectic schedule.

I'm inclined to agree with you, I think he had such a high opinion of his own managerial abilities that he thought he could 'do it' without targeting the very top players.

but still, from a united fans perspective it should be a given than you finish ahead of this Liverpool, not an achievement

Lallana, Coutinho, Mane and Firmino would get in to any of the teams easily. What was a big mistake is not fixing Liverpool's defense- CB and LB. Instead, Klopp went for a Bundesliga relegation battling CB on his last legs. His record in the transfer market is atrocious tbh.
