Dude, I`ve asked this on the previous thread, but there are no satisfying answer, could you help me ?
1. I`m about to use the CC now to install it, will it delete or in any way disaccess me from my saved games ?
2. Would I be able to edit it as many time as I want and reinstall it again without fear of a messed up FIFA 2003 ?
Say, for example : I change things here and there, save it, install it using the CC. Then I go play some matches in season mode, then I realised something`s not right, so I save, quit the game. Then I go opening the database again with access, change and make correction again, then reinstall it again using the CC, would that be possible ? And would the changes I made in the second time, directly applied in my saved games ? BTW if I want to install it using CC, then I must save it as PKG file first, am I right ? Or I can directly install it ?
Could you explain here the step by step instalation for changing the database using the Access way. Thanks for all the answer, and any clues will be greatly apreciated.
1. Yes, im afraid you will still lost your save games, as these are lost during the installing of packages in the CC, which is still needed using the Access method.
2.Yes, you can edit the MS Access DB as many times as you want, and it wont mess up the Database. However, added teams will often have wrong lineups, which will need to be corrected in team management. Added players however have no such problems.
What you have to do is the following:
1. Open, the file dev_all_data.mdb from the CC directory on your computer.
2.Make changes to the file. (Players can be changed in the Players table, Player positions and numbers in a specific team can be added/edited using the little + next to the player id number, and teams can be edited in the Teams Table.)
3. Once you have finished with a table, save that table, and then once you've finished with the database, quit MS Access.
4. Open the Creation Centre (you may get an error on start up, click OK, and it should continue loading).
5. Go to the File Menu, and select New
6. Go to the File Menu and Click Save As.
7. Save the PKG file, as whatever you like.
8. Go to the Package Menu and select Install.
9. Launch FIFA.
Hope this makes things easier
Cheers
