MS Access editing Thread

can someone please explain this to me, i was looking through the teams section in access, i started at the bottom, and when i reached Liverpool and i opened it up it had Dennis Bergkamp, and i was wondering why the F*ck Dennis Bergkamp was there when i clicked Liverpool?? anyone know, or has anyone noticed this?

I know that it comes up when you want to install the package, but which part? Durring Teams, Player, Kits, linkups- install???

I had a problem when making a competition in the CC with the teams I created in access.
when I'm installing the pkg an error comes up in the competition installation I think that says "there's no logo for team 2007 in logos.fsh"
Now, 2007 is the ID of one of the teams I created so I havent tried it yet but I think that if we put the logos in the logos.fsh file then the teams will have the logos at least when playing in the competition (though not in the rest of the world section).
Anyone else had this error?

hmmm that is weird. never heard about that one :P
But the only problem I have with creating Competitions with Access is that it doesn't appeat inn-game. The istalation is smooth and the competition is shown in the CC, but not inn-game...

yeah that happens when you create the competition in access but I created it in the CC and selected the teams (created in access) from the Rest of the World Section.
maybe you maniac or someone else can someone with access-created teams create a competition in the CC and tell me if it works the instalation please?
the created teams should be in the rest of the world section like I have mine.

yeah, that error always occurs when u create comps in access, and sometimes it stuffs up parts of ur database.
This is a question i raised about ur access forms, but u seemed to not notice..

Hakeem, ive had that error b4, and assumed the same reasons. I havent tried importing the fsh's though, because so far in FIFA 2003, i have been unsuccesful with all fsh importing. I think the format is slight different then older versions of FIFA, so i need a new EAGraph, or gfxpak.

I'll try importing the logos to the logos.fsh file if I have time and test it. I think that'll do it

ok, so that means that the problem is somewhere in the Teams.
Check the Chants part and set all to 0 and the Banner ID to 0

If that doesn't fix the problem, upload the database or send it to me, I can take a look.
I am really sorry about these stupid bugs, the version 2 is gonna rock your world... soon

Soon i will be releaseing the version 2.0 of the ECP Access Editor, all of those who have tyed my editor please tell me what you didn't like about it, so that it can be improved. So far, the Beta testing has gone smoothly, no reports of bugs at all. So please tell me, what should be improved. Thanks

Would it be possible to make it so you can edit the teams you create using the Creation Centre, or is that not possible?

I'd really like to edit the squad numbers of the St. Mirren team I made in the Creation Centre, but unfortunately I can't find a way

Would I be better starting again in the Access Databse, creating a team in that? And if I did, where would it add them, to the creation centre section or a section I choose.

Apologies if I am asking questions about previously covered ground

i made a team, installed the pack; every thing's OK
then i deleted the team and some new players b'cause i didn't like them and when installing the new package:

Run Time Error '94'
Invalid Use of Null

I am sorry to disapoint you but it is not possible to edit stuff in Access that are created in CC, .
The best way would be to create teams in Access, and use CC only to install the stuff you edited or created in Access.

ok, that means that there is a porblem in the Teams. Send me the database, or upload it somewhere, so that I can take a look.

btw the 2.0 access editor looks good,
but 1 thing - can u put the face, hair and facial hair in 1 image, like in CC

about the faces option. Believe me I have tryed that! It just doesn't work. It seems that Access has problems with transparency, pluss that the editor uses the face images form the Art folder, and the hair and facial styles have a black background. I have tryed to make it transparent but with no luck.... Is someone has these images with transparent background, pls send it to me, and I will work something out.
