MS Access editing Thread

Why when trying to get a team to play at a particular stadium by default through access this does not work???

example:

I've tried to get AC Milan playing at San Siro and Holland to play in Amsterdam Arena but no can do...

Can any of you Access experts know why???

yeah that sucks. the option is there but it doesnt work.
That can only be changed in the exe file

Thanks for the instructions, but when I check the rosters ingame, it still adds the player with the next free number in the squad. But everything else has been added, e.g. new players added, other players physical features changed.

Has this happened to anyone else even if they had followed the instructions? It seems that the only difference between the CC database and the FIFA2K3 database is the player numbers.

After reading this thread and trying out things I understand how to make the changes in access.

now, has anyone figured out how to change captaincy?
I have tried both the suggested free kick taker method and lowest starting player ID, but they did not work.
I was using Juventus. Del Piero = 1075 and Davids = 5672, but Davids is still captain. Earlier I was playing a season and Del Piero was injured, then Davids was made captain. So this was changed in some other file that CC does not modify when installing the packages. I think this is what is known so far by most of you.
Has anything new been discovered?

How do I force a teams ID number to change? I want to use 1339 for Holland in a updated roster like Treebeard did in his roster update last year.

that happens I think cause you made a competition and one of the teams is team 1998 and as the file logos.fhs does not have this logo then it gives you that error.

and there's not much to do. the file logos.fsh does not allow us to add new logos, just edit them

yes you can, just go to the federations table and check the ID of the club championship and then go to the link_tf (of ft) table and edit the link between the brondby and the cc for aek athens and the cc

delete the relation between the tables players and teams for the ID and go to design mode of the teams table and change the autonumeic value to just numeric

i've been using skip e's first version access editor and have made numerous changes to it...i recently downloaded ecp's editor..2.1 i think...i was wondering if its possible to bring over my changes so that i can now use ecp's editor?

Just import the forms into the access file you want to use. launch the forms from the forms window.

open up the roster (access file) you want to use.
The from the menu, file>get external data>import
Find the file that has teh forms you want to install.
Then choose the forms tab and select all the forms and import them.

I have MS Acess 97, but it won't let me open the dev_all_data (or whatever it's called) file, or the forms I downloaded. It says they're unrecignized database formats, is there a way I can fix it?

there's no fix. It only works for Office 2000 or XP

Hi, there.I created few teams with Access.When i try to install them with CC I receive the same message with others for the logos(logo not logos.fsh file 1999).Then i changed the ids from the logo.fsh with hex_editor (1745 to 1999, 1747 to 2000 e.t.c).When i try to install the pkg again I receive the same message .So ,what's going on?Where is the problem,because my team 1999 has now its logo in logo.fsh
