Thanx for your comments EBS....I dont really think i might be good enough yet man,but if you want to give it a go ...I'm up for it....


ANYBODY ELSE....I am not a kitmaker...I'll find a generic kit and play with it,thats what i do... if your happy with that ,ok...There are many real craftspeople who make great kits from scratch on these forums....I am not in their league,,,,,,Mini kits are better for me....But if your happy with what i can do ,just ask and i'll give it a go

Joey..I dont have the template of the kit...Its a generic adidas kit from Fifa4fans...I just changed the colours and added the badges...sorry mate..

Ok i made Real Madrid from scratch...I dont see the point really 'cos Kitsbases mini kits are fine by me...I just wanna do mini kits that people want, that they cant find anywhere else,or maybe you want the kits in a different order....I prefer some 3rd shirts to the actual away shirt so i change the mini kit to suit...and as i said before, I'm not on here to make a name for myself...I just want to help provide stuff that people like me need...so i dont need any bitchin' here 'cos as i said at the start of this thread....if you have a use for this stuff then use it...I've also made it quite clear when a piece of work is mine, or someone elses...Thats it ..no more repeating myself.........by the way,if anyone can get me an image of the blue cup that Real wear on their sleeve,i would be grateful...then i can re-edit the 3rd kit on this png.

How much time have you got chrissyd ?..LOL..I use Photoshop and Illustrator....Start off with a blank mini kit template in Photoshop...copy it onto a new layer set at normal...decide which colour to use first...create a new layer set at multiply...which sits on top of the template layer...colour the entire 2nd layer with colour.Highlight the first layer... use the magic wandto highlight the outside of the shirt....select 2nd layer again..and when you use"cut" the outside of the kit will be clear and your template will be coloured.For cutting shapes out of the new colour..like stripes,sleeve designs and such,well i had to originally draw them in on a new transparent layer and then,switching to the coloured layer "cut" the shapes out.Now i have done a few i kept the shapes as templates so its a bit quicker now.Its the same with the collars.I drew it by using the line tooland masking tool and i use the same collars when i need to.Remember to use a new layer for every move you make...this gives you more control over the whole thing and you can delete the layer easily if it goes wrong and try again on another layer.Dont lay colours on top of each other without cutting out the unwanted colour because the colours will mix and be too dark.I'm still at an early stage in all of this...I'm still tring to master drawing curves(I wish someone would tell me how to),so at the moment i do my curves and lines however else i can...but i'll work it out i guess....Whatever mini kits i make,I have a bmp of the kit and simply copy it...I go to that clubs website for pics and links to sponsors for the logos...and a couple of logo and club badge sites where i can D/L quality images to use....Its all trial and error .....and it takes a lot of hours and patience....I only stuck at it so i could customise my own mini kits...Most of the ones in my game are from Kitsbase,who not only make great kits but great mini kits too.I,ve never been "arty" in my life so nobody was more surprised than me when they started lookig ok....You gotta start at the beggining and make the mistakes and learn from them...I just give it my best shot and hope for the best.....I dont really know that much but if you need to ask me anything else ...do it and i will be glad to try to help....Also lots of sites have "Tutorials " in their download sections some of these are for mini kits making so go have a look around.....good luck

They're easy once you get the hang of it, just a tad time consuming for some.

BTW Pede, glad to see you're doing them now, they look nice too.
