Artest traded to the Rockets for Bobby Carlos*son, Donte Green and our 2009 first round pick (plus cash).

Artest loves Alderman. If this doesn't get us past the first round (assuming 2 of the 3 stay healthy) then I don't know what will...

The Rockets are doomed simply b/c they have T-Mac on their roster and he is destined to never make it past the first round.

We went on that 22 game winning streak without Yao and Artest and we've kept almost everyone on board this year... I'm very, VERY optimisitc of advancing past the first round (and beyond) if 2 of the 3 stars can remain healthy :D

Still think we need a more reliable backup center since Yao won't be right after the Olympics though... But our defence should be ridiculous this year.

I don't want to take any credit away from that amazing streak man but it was against mostly poor competition and even when it was happening there weren't many who were saying "ooohh boy we better consider the Rockets as serious contenders." They're a good team but in a West that has the Lakers, Spurs, Jazz and Hornets I just don't see them having any chance to get to the Finals.

PS: I did leave out the Suns and Mavs on purpose, I think those two are done for a while.

Why cuban did not want to do that trade is beyond me. his idiocy only furthers my fear of him taking over the Cubs.

man, that's ****ed up! I have a hard time feeling sorry for 'em because, I mean, CMON! What he did to sustain that career diminishing, or at the worst, ending, is incomprehensibly stupid......absolutely unforgivable ****,. man.
