Damn finally these bastards reached an agreement and we can have b-ball for Christmas. You guys know which "significant" players actually ended up leaving to other leagues. I know Deron Williams left to play for Beşiktaş but that's about all I know...

T.J. Ford signed for KK Zagreb CO from Indiana. He debut in victory against Brose Baskets in Euroleague. Great player.

Shifty, how so that NBA is not popular in America anymore. I read somewhere that even 'soccer' is more popular then NBA. I remember back in '90s when I was a kid, NBA was broadcasting on our national TV and everybody watched it, it was madness, but now... Have a felling that Eurolegue have more views then NBA.

MLS has higher average attendance than the NBA, but it's not really a fair comparison because the MLS has higher capacity stadiums/arenas and cheaper tickets.

I never liked the NBA. College basketball is where it's at.

The NBA **** the bed by going into a lockout after record interest during the finals last year. At this point, I don't think many, myself included, care.

I'm going to be following the NBA this seasons . I've been watching the NBA more and more since the last Nba thread (probably in 2007).

I read someone predict the Thunder will be league leaders in the west and I probably agree with them. They have the talent and now the experience to be consistently kicking @ss. Mavs have had a lot of changes this year and I expect them to be the favourites in the west come playoff time but probably not during the season (they have to rest their vets too).

My team, Raptors, have 0 expectations this season. They will tank hard (check out their alternative jersey this year bellow!). We have Derozan, Ed Davis as good prospects and Valanciunas coming over next year. We just need a solid SF and PG and we could draft an elite one next draft and we should sign the other. Then we can progressively make the playoffs and keep getting better... The raps organization has fully embraced tank mode after years of treadmilling. I should create a UFC thread too, I watch every event but I don't know if anyone cares.

I hope OKC does well this year, Durant probably will win the MVP and I really liked Ibaka last season, also about the Clippers I glad that Blake has a better supporting cast around him, he's easily one of the league most exciting players and now he's gonna have one of the league's most exciting teams. The Eastern Conference will probably have the same two finalists this year. Knicks really don't convince me and the Celtics are older than dirt.

I still don't want Miami to win it all this year, but they most likely will.

Chandler is quite a loss for the Mavericks don't see how Haywood would last the whole season fit.

I have high hopes for my Clippers. It's not just CP3 and Blake Griffin but a strong cast of players that makes them serious contenders. I love the fact we signed a veteran PG like Billups to give Paul some rest, while Caron Butler, DeAndre Jordan, Mo Williams and company will be a great help in the scoring end to aid Griffin.

Alley oops from Paul to Griffin...absolutely priceless.
