need help with fifa demo

hi all i've a problem with running the game... when my laptop is connected to my gamepad the fifa doesnt work..Like i open fifa demo screen and i press play then it opens then close it self automatically before the language screen...and when i disconnect my gamepad it work!
how can i fix this?
