1.back up your db file!!
2.open DBM12 go to teamkits
first go to the powid column and check all kits are -1
1 means locked

Arsenal teamtechid 1 have a classic kit 1970
5121 kit_1_0_1970.rx3
Man utd teamtechid 11 dont have a classic kit
How to assign the classic kit 1970 slot to man utd
4.go to 5121 1 0 look along to the year column 1970
change 1 to 11 so this is now a man utd assigned kit
press save top left done
now man utd has a classic kit that appears in the classic kit section before a game and can be edited in CM13
arsenal has lost its classic kit slot but if you want to reassign it to a kit you dont want refer to point 7
5.go to sceneassets/kit folder and put in the kit you want
name it kit_11_0_1970.rx3
Regenerate all BH Files (take care of extern files)

6.to add another kit
use another classic kit eg dortmund 1966 kit and repeat ect
REMEMBER the classic kit is ALWAYS 0 before the year
some classic kits like arsenal and chelsea are 1970 so
just change one eg chelsea to 1977 in the year column so you can use it in sceneassets/kit folder
i have 10 kits in the classic kits plus 3 default you can have different shorts socks combos which are always there i havnt the time to test how many but in theory you can do as many as you want

Your not limted by the classic kits choose a kit from a team you dont use a third or away kit set it to 0 put
a year in say 1999 look at the sequence of classic kits teamkitid ids like 5065 5066 then add the next logical id
like 5067
eg i made QPR third kit into a classic kit by adding 1999 to the year column switched teamkitid to 5067
check it is not taken (press top of the column to order the ids)press save top left done
the kit you have switched will not be available but you will now have a new kit for your classic kits
go to sceneassets/kit folder and put in the kit you want
name it kit_11_0_1999.rx3 and regenerate
i found if you use default kits eg man u home
kit_11_0_0.rx3 (or the home team kit you are assigning)
so it is not in the sceneassets/kit folder
ADD it to the folder:it seems to prevent the program confusing ids somehow
